Sip your morning coffee on one of the expansive covered porches that wrap two sides of the home, adding 850 sq ft of outdoor living space with rough-cut black locust floors and posts harvested right from the property. Salvaged eastern hemlock from the surrounding mountains was used for the porch rails and roof rafters. In the evenings, watch colorful sunsets and listen to the gentle calls of barred owls or the buzz of hummingbirds — the only sounds breaking the peaceful quiet.
Inside, antique furnishings blend cleverly with modern comforts. The home features four bedrooms: three on the ground level and one large upstairs bedroom with two beds, comfortably sleeping your whole crew. Everyone rests well on brand-new Casper mattresses. After a day of adventure, soak in one of two antique clawfoot tubs.
