"The back deck overlooking the waterfall below is alone enough to make this the perfect retreat. It's quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Very clean. It was a great place for me to work as I was in the area to cover disaster recovery work by The Fuller Center for Housing, while it was also close enough to Asheville and Weaverville for my wife and mother to explore shops, restaurants, and, of course, the Biltmore. It strikes the perfect balance of getting away from it all while not getting TOO far...

"This cabin was perfect for us! Cozy, great view, quiet. We were in town for my daughters wedding, and it was the perfect getaway from the chaos around the event, allowing us some "us" time. Easy to get to many things, took the advice on some of the restaurants in the book, relaxed in the hot tub and by the fire. We usually stay in Franklin on our yearly mountains trip, but I think we will be coming back here next year. Hosts are great!"

"I was hoping for better cleanliness. The hot tub was dirty and we didn’t get to enjoy it as much. I had to ask for a broom to sweep all the dog hair in master bedroom and bathroom, shower bottom floor was dirty in both bathrooms, toothpaste in master bathroom sink, stained towels, and bathroom shower head dirty. But overall the stay was great. The Nest was very nice and cozy. "

"We had a great stay! We booked a one night stay but would definitely come back for a longer stay. We had 5 adults in our party and had plenty of space. A couple of us got up the next morning and took a walk in the area and on the nature trail. You can hear the sound of the stream from the back deck. Restaurants with live music nearby. Next time, we hope to be able to take advantage of the fire pit and hot tub. Thank you for providing such an inviting space."
