Outdoor campfire cooking area, gardens and greenhouses for fresh veggies, artesian spring water, Perfect for families and friends. The Broad River surrounds the property and there is some nice swimming holes here and nearby. This is a beautiful rural area surrounded by mountains and river. Hiking and rock climbing, mountain biking, road cycling are your recreational opportunities here and nearby. nearby roadside pub, micro brews and burgers, with live music is just up the road. Nearby scenic areas include Chimney Rock State Park, Hickory Nut Gorge, and Mount Mitchell State Park is an all day trip for your scenic or hiking adventure.

A not well known waterfall only 4 mins away with a large swimming hole as well

The Camper has a queen bed, full function kitchen, bathroom with small tub, A pull out couch (Full mattress). The Camper over looks our new apple orchard and sounds of the rushing broad river. Cook outside by our private beach on the river or go swimming!

Amazing!!! Easy.

Everything was perfect. Sure you had to pump the toilet and put trash paoer in a can. Its a private ccamper. Helpful and nice. A stream, field and chickens. What else you want. We will returnq

BE PREPARED

I was really hoping this would have been a fun experience In the north Carolina mountains. However, was very similar to previous reviews. The location was hard to find, especially at night. There were people camping on the property who parked right in front of the camper and I am pretty sure used the camper as their own before we got there. At least I hope they did, as there was no hand soap, no toilet paper, or paper towels, used cups left around and the floor was filthy. The mold smell was awful. The sulfur egg smell from the kitchen sink was worse. We couldn't find another location to stay so we were stuck for the weekend. The heater worked wonderfully thank god. The pull-out sofa bed was broken and very uncomfortable. The views were great driving up to the location, but all in all, it felt like a run-down little farm, moldy driveway mattress included. The dogs were adorable but wouldn't stop barking at us in the camper. Has so much potential!

It wasn't terrible and it was inexpensive. It could have been cleaner and the yard wasn't super appealing. It was safe, quiet, and had nice mountain views. The stream was nice too.

Great Spot!

Great spot to spend some time. Beautiful babbling brook. Place for the pet to run. I have T-Mobile I couldn't get any internet so for 24 hours we had no communication in case of the emergency we couldn't have gotten any help including owner. A small bit of Wi-Fi seem to work late at night. And I could get on the internet but I still couldn't get any cellular phone.It could use a little bit of updating, spray wash in the outside getting the weeds down. They weren't in the original pictures. Heater works inside. Missing a few amenities but not much.

We absolutely loved our stay great area we will definitely be staying again

Great stay great location just a minor issues with the toilet we did not flush toilet paper down the toilet but yet it still clogged up. We tried to plunge it before we left but were unable to get it unclogged that's our apologies but we love the place and would absolutely love to come and stay again thank you so much

Not cozy at all

Our experience was almost identical to the previous review from the guest who only stayed one hour, but we weren't able to leave and stay somewhere different, unfortunately. We could have overlooked the smell, the toilet paper in the waste basket, and the lack of cleanliness if there weren't mouse droppings in every single drawer in the trailer. We couldn't store food in the trailer in fear of attracting mice. When I messaged the host in the morning to say how the listing was not accurate, his response was, "It's listed as a trailer on 10 acres," which is true. But if you think you're going to arrive at a charming little setting in the mountains with a beautiful vegetable garden and chickens running around, think again. The accommodations were so poor, it was not relaxing at all. I was attracted to this location because we just needed a place to spend the night and didn't want to spend a lot of money. I can't even say, "You get what you pay for," because this property is NOT worth the money we paid. I read all the available reviews before I booked this stay (the review from the guest who only stayed one hour wasn't posted when I booked) and knew it wasn't going to be the best place we ever stayed. But the lack of care the host took to provide us a relaxing place to sleep was disappointing. I do want to say that not everything was negative. We had hot water to take a shower and the furnace worked. We took a shower and got the heck out of there as soon as we could in the morning. I guess there are many reviewers who would go back, but we do not recommend this property.

Beware

This property is an RV that sits in a field of an organic farm. Because we have previously contemplated buying or leasing an RV, my wife and I decided to book for three nights to see if we would like it. We arrived and were surprised that there was no lockbox with a key. The door was unlocked. We hauled in our suitcases and cooler. When we opened the refrigerator, we were shocked. There was dried spoilage on the racks and the drawers of the refrigerator. We then looked around and realized that the whole place had, at best, been given a superficial cleaning. There floor was dirty, the corners had dirt build-up, and the whole unit can only be described as grungy. We then noticed a note on the toilet that said, “Please do not put toilet paper in the toilet. Place it in the waste basket next to the toilet.” This was all we could take. We had only been there an hour, and we decided to leave. Needless to say, this caused a major disruption to our travel plans. We hastily searched and, fortunately, found another rental that was available that night. We hauled our stuff out reloaded the car and left. I did not try to contact the owner that evening. There was no point. The place was filthy. I did contact VRBO the next day and reported what I found. Later the owner sent me a text asking if everything is ok. I texted back my concerns. His response to me was that, with all RVs, you can’t flush toilet paper. I told him that some people are not aware of the dynamics of RVs and he should include that in the description of the property. That was the only issue he addressed with me. He did not address how filthy the property was, and I told him so. VRBO said they were going to request a refund for me since we only stayed an hour, but I seriously doubt I will see the money. My main purpose in this review is to warn people. If you don’t mind dirt, don’t mind having soiled toilet paper in a can next to the toilet, then go for it.

Nature at its Finest

This a wonderful place to destress, re-group, meditation and balance. I absolutely like the fact the owner sat this up on his property and allow guest to explore and sit by the water. A great bonus is the owner is right with in reach in case something is forgotten. The RV was wonderful, everything was beyond excellent and enjoyable. While being there we ran into some nice people that the owner rented the back half too with there tents, which was a wonderful idea if you ever want to spend the night outdoors. As long as the owner has this available I will definitely be a returning guest!

Good location

The camper was in a nice secluded area and the creek running behind was a nice little swimming area for us and our dogs. The host was extremely kind and welcoming. The place has a lot of potential to be a great stay and is in a really great location. You're very close to surrounding towns but secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The camper was dirty; we went to use the stove and turned on the overhead fan which dropped a bunch of gnats. The stovestop was covered in gnats and there was some mold around the camper. The cleaning definitely could be done better so if you are someone who isn't used to camping, bugs, or is any bit squeamish I would not recommend this place. This is closer to off-grid living and isn't for everyone.

Nice quiet location

The owner was very reachable and had the place ready for us. Nice camping experience and the river was beautiful. Trailer had plenty of space for 2 people. Bed was very comfortable!

Nice little spot

The camper sits on a small farm on Black Mountain with a beautiful little stream that runs around it. The camper was a little dirty, but overall, we had a wonderful stay. It was close to a lot of different trails, nature walks, and a few waterfalls too!

Great time at the farm.

We had great time on Danny's farm. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Great location, close to Asheville and highking trails. RV had everything we need. Definitely will be back.

Great location and views.

The location and the property manager were excellent. The only thing I would recommend is a detail cleaning of the camper. All the sinks and the counters were filthy and the floors. Also one of the benches in the camper for eating has mold all over it. The host was super nice and friendly, the farm experience and being close to the water was excellent. I understand times are difficult now for everyone, but if in the near future those items could be addressed, we would be happy to come back out and enjoy this lovely mountain experience.
