Very secluded 350' of Lake Gogebic shorefront, with adorable cozy remodeled cabin for your enjoyment year round. New 50' pier with shore station. Full access to snowmobile and ATV trails. On East Shore RD, close to Bergland for gas and incidentals. Full internet and WiFi hook ups. Cabin comes with amenities. Full Cutlery set and all dishes and cookware supplied. All small appliances, two coffee makers, one full pot coffee maker and one Keurig Pod coffee maker, toaster and microwave available for use. Kitchen includes full size electric cooktop stove. Extra linens and towels supplied. Cabin is clean and ready for guests on arrival. Air conditioned for summer. Pole barn available to park sleds or ATVs. Within approximately 2 miles of the Root Cellar Bar and Restaurant.

Laid back vacation

We took a break from the real world, and lost track of time. Fished off the doc, did puzzles and board games and explored the area. We cleared out the fire pit which allowed great fire to cook on our tripod grill. Got to relax before our sons surgery, after heading home.

We just returned from the most amazing stay at this beautiful cabin on the lake in the Upper Peninsula, and we are already dreaming of coming back! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting, stunning lake views, and cozy atmosphere of the cabin.The cabin itself was spotless, well-equipped, and full of charming rustic touches that made us feel right at home. We loved waking up to the sound of loons on the water and enjoying our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. The sunsets here are simply breathtakingā€”every night felt like a postcard!Everything we could have needed was providedā€”comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and even a fire pit for sā€™mores under the stars. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. We spent our days fishing and taking advantage of the nearby waterfalls and sightseeing spots, which were absolutely stunning.The hosts were outstandingā€”so friendly, welcoming, and quick to answer any questions. You can tell they truly care about making sure guests have a wonderful experience.If youā€™re looking for a peaceful, lakeside retreat to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature, this is the place. We made so many great memories here and canā€™t wait to return! Highly recommend!

Awesome getaway

The property was just what I expected for a wilderness setting, the cabin was beautiful inside and everything supplied, except food of course.The only thing was I didnā€™t realize the boat lift on the dock was for my use, which after my boat got swamped tied to the dock and I had to use the lift to make a recovery did I decide to use it for the rest of my stay, which was amazing. So the only suggestion I have is to put something in all the information about the dock and boat lift use.We had an awesome time and will definitely book again!!

Cute cabin on the lake

Perfect cabin for a couple, could easily sleep 4 people. It has an open floor plan. The cabin had everything we needed to make our week long stay enjoyable. We stayed at the end of February for a week of snowmobiling. Easy access to the trails while being outside of town for privacy. There were a lot of people ice fishing off shore as the perch were biting in the area. Will definitely stay again.

Literally last minute cancellation by owner

Our stay, or should I say lack of stay was absolutely horrible. A group of us plan a yearly snowmobile visit annually. Itā€™s planned months in advance and we look forward it to. We drove 6 hours and literally one hour before check I received a message via VRBO website that the owner cancelled our stay. No call, no voicemail and left with no options to stay, stranded. When I called the owner to find out what happened I was told they found out at 8am that morning the toilet over flowed, causing a mess, and that VRBO tried to call but no one answered. Yes, they tried to call at 2pm, left no voicemail and no options. I understand things happen, but If the owner found out about a possible major issue at 8am it would have been nice to find out before 2pm that day. We couldnā€™t find anywhere to stay due to last minute. We finally did and it was 2 hours away from our original planned location. Ruined the first 2 days of a 5 day trip. We will certainly NEVER stay or recommend staying here. Communicating is key and not communicating until 1 hour before check in is unacceptable. Plus leaving us absolutely no options is just plan rude!!! Terrible experience.

Peaceful weekend

The cabin was perfect for our weekend. Had the basics we needed and the view was better than expected. It was very homey and private. Checked out the Root Cellar for dinner Friday night and not to far to the Porcupine Mnts for our adventures. We would love to stay there again! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us. The directions for everything was very well explained. No issues or need to contact.

Enjoyed our unplugged weekend. The cabin was as presented, clean, cozy and private. We were unsure of the time zone we were in when we arrived and got a little nervous that we had not received a code for the door. We just opened the cooler sat on the deck and waited. Code arrived on the stroke of 4.

Really enjoyed my stay at this cabin by the lake! I wish to make another trip next year. The view was breathtaking and I was able to completely relax and not deal with surrounding public as I would from hotels.

The Perfect UP Vacation

Our stay was great, we text any questions we had and had answers right away. We traveled to Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor, pictured rocks, and much more but one of the closest was bond falls and probably our new favorite falls that we have visited in the UP (breathtaking). We also fished and rode orv trails. Great Time

The cabin on the lake was a great get away. We enjoyed our stay and loved the atv trails and saw many beautiful waterfalls on our rides. We loved the cabin and area so much last year that we stayed again this summer. Great family memories!

Cabin on lake Gogebic

This property is exactly as listed. Beautiful spot on Lake Gogebic with everything you need. Very secluded with little traffic. Great for about 2-4 guests and easy to keep a boat at.this is a cabin in the woods in a very small town. If you need groceries get them on the way at the closest major city.
