Fire up the riverfront fire pit and relax under the stars. Spend quality family time and brush up on your pool table or shuffleboard skills. Play board games, put together a puzzle, or enjoy one of the five Smart TV's featuring Roku Guest Mode (where you can sign in to all your subscriptions - Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney +, DirectTV, Xfinity, etc.) When you feel like an adventure, there are riverfront trails located right out your front door. Spend your days fishing, hiking, cross country skiing, mountain biking, or playing in the river, and nights snuggled by the gas fireplace or outdoor fire pit - There is information at the home regarding the proper and seasonal use of the fire pit. During Summer, fire risk is too high for use.
The outdoor area features a riverfront patio and fire pit with private hot tub, paver stone driveway and walkways, upper riverfront deck with gas bbq, comfortable seating, and amazing river views! The large driveway has ample space for your boat, RV, Snowmobiles, ATV's, etc., making this home a great base camp for all your Central Oregon Adventures. Just a few minutes away is glacier-fed Fall River, which is world renowned for its stellar fly fishing and beautiful Falls that are a short 1/2 mile hike from the parking lot. Golf, shop, swim, dine and play in Sunriver 10 minutes from your front door step. Less than an hour's drive gets you to all of the popular lakes in the Cascade range (Crescent, Cultus, Odell, Crane Prairie, Twin Lakes, Elk, Waldo, Lava, Wickiup to name a few). Mt. Bachelor is an easy 25 minute drive for some of the best skiing in the Pacific Northwest. This home is ideally located to take advantage of all that Central Oregon has to offer!
The home includes central heat and air conditioning, high-speed internet, and a washer and dryer. The three bedrooms are as follows: (1) Upstairs King master Bedroom with huge master bathroom (steam shower + regular tub/shower), (2) Downstairs Bedroom featuring a Queen over Queen bunk bed, with a sliding door that opens to the riverfront patio and hot tub area, and (3) Downstairs Bedroom with Queen + two twins. The twins are bunk style built into a cove in the room. Each bedroom is equipped with a smart TV, in addition to the three other TV's in the living room, lower family room and game room.
The kitchen is well stocked for home cooked meals, featuring stainless steel appliances, coffee pot and grinder, blender, crock pot, waffle iron and plenty of dishes and utensils. The wood dining table and furnishings create a comfortable ambiance for your group meals and games.
The home sits directly on the Big Deschutes River. It is adjacent to national forest land with trails for hiking, cross-country skiing and amazing scenery. The views from the riverfront upper deck and landscaped patio areas are incredible. River access is directly adjacent to the house on national forest land, and we provide 3 kayaks for your enjoyment. It's not suggested to launch kayaks from the property. There are passes in the home that give you access to launch areas in the area. There are many areas to launch kayaks such as La Pine State Park. Use kayaks at your own risk.
After you book a reservation, as a security measure for you and our owners, we will be sending you a Verification Request via our partner, Guest Ranger. Please complete it as soon as possible so we can verify your stay. If we cannot verify your stay, we may cancel your reservation.
We love our dogs and yours too! There is an additional pet fee of $20 per pet per night so please let us know if your dog(s) will be vacationing with you.
Booking Channel Guests:
Any time you book with us, but not on our site, for simplicity's sake, we have combined all fees into a single group. That group can include Cleaning, Resort Fee, Card Processing, and Hot Tub maintenance (all when applicable). The Service Fee is the booking site's fee, not ours.
