"We had a delightful night away, all the staff were friendly and professional from arrival to departure. Great selection of drinks at the bar, good selection of food on the menu, clean and quirky bedroom and a quality breakfast. "

"The inn was better than I expected, to tell you the truth. The rooms have been recently refurbished and even though it's in a main road, it's not very noisy. I would stay there again for sure."

"The rooms on the property are tiny, they look bigger in the pictures! The rooms are dated & dirty. I'm not sure we were actually clean after getting showered. The floor was gritty under foot and there were other people's hair all over the bathroom floor. There were a lot of mixed messages as well. When booking its advised that you can check in from 3 but check in forms we received implied you can't check in before 5. Breakfast was another mix of messages with staff not being clear either....

"Return visit, overnight stay to attend a funeral next morning. Checked in at 8:10pm (not a very warm welcome), only to be told the restaurant closes at 8pm. In a hotel! I asked if an exception could please be made as it was only a few minutes, and we’d been driving over 2 hours, but was told no (without even asking the kitchen) - no bar food available either.
