"Fantastic stay. Lovely room. Free parking and £10 for our dog to stay ( 2 night stay) food was lovely and we could take our dog with us. The staff were fab made a fuss over our dog and nothing was too much trouble for us or her. Opposite, there is a field that you can take your dog for a walk. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back. "

"Excelled my expectations, initally from outside it appeared dull looking in my opinion, but once inside it was very clean and bright, our room was exceptionally clean with a bright welcoming decor, big comfy bed, spotless bathroom and powerfull shower and huge car park at rear, although we had parked at the front as wasnt aware of the rear one....lovely breafast in the morning and very reasonably priced. Possibly back in the area in June and wont hesitate to book here if theres availability."

"Unfortunately not my best visit here - visited several Times - checked in quite late - went straight to my room for a bath - no hot water ! - then headed down stairs for a bit to eat - had the same as my previous visit ( chicken bourguignon which was great last time) - unfortunately this time it was reheated microwaved mush - so headed to bed , unfortunately for me I was woken up by rocking headboards at 1.30 ( my neighbour was obviously having a better night than me ) thin walls between rooms...

"We were very impressed from the outset. Speedy check in, huge room with 6ft bed, big bathroom with bath and separate shower and nice towels. The pool and spa are a good size with very friendly, helpful staff. We slept well. There was a wide selection of food at the breakfast buffet but the most outstanding thing was the temperature of the food. I have never had such piping hot food at a breakfast buffet anywhere in the world! It was tasty, frequently replenished and supervised by staff. We even...

"Very quiet and peaceful area, right next to a church and a town square. Own kitchen and restaurant. Only had breakfast and it was great. Shower and WiFi also worked as it should"

"Very pleasant stay. The bar is good, the stone and Ivy restaurant has a good variety os dishes. And i could bring my dog. They also have a nice outdoor area for walking him. And it was very reasonable price"

"Large car park at rear but it was a large pub. Friendly staff and clean room. Food was good and well priced which was shown by how busy it was in the restaurant. The only negative at all for this pub/hotel was that when clearing tables after diners had left the waitress used what cutlery was left on the table to make it up ready for the next diners. How did she know that the previous people didn't sneeze on it or handle it? Not nice in my opinion"
