"The home is a beautiful place , the name say it all tranquility. We spend a night the host were very nice and accessible to communicate. The river on the bottom of the house is a bonus if you are looking for a place to relax this is it.. I would truly recommend this place with out a doubt. "

"Overall a very nice place. The atmosphere was very peaceful and homey. My recommendations would be more towels provided. There was a set of two per person, which, if you set aside one set for after the hot tub use, you are down to one, which after daily hikes outside, is not the best for a stay greater than 3 days. My other thought was for better signage to find the unit. It is a sharp right and down hill from the primary residence, which can be hard to see from the driveway leading in....

"We had a wonderful stay at the Squirrel! It was our home away from home while we explored Oakhurst and the nearby towns, ran the Yosemite Half Marathon (my incredible partner's first half!), and hiked the beautiful waterfalls at Yosemite National Park. The home is peaceful and quiet, great location in town (but still feels secluded), and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants a perfect basecamp for adventuring Bass Lake, Yosemite, and the other wonderful places nearby. "

"This place was amazing and the host went above and beyond. The space comfortably fit 9 people and there was plenty of sleeping space, beds, and couches to accommodate our party. The place has everything you need to cook and prepare meals. There is a lovely patio area. We were able to fit 3 cars in the driveway. Overall, it was a great stay and we were able to go to Yosemite no problem. It took about 40 min to get to the South entrance and 30 more minutes after that to get to the valley foor....

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean upon arrival. Enough beds for a big family, modern appliances, and comfy beds to crawl into after a day at the lake. Nature is literally all around you. There was plenty of space for the kids to ride bikes, play on the playground, while the parents can sit on the large deck and watch the magic of exploration happen.
