Terrace 2 apartment Valencia St

Elegant two bedroom apartment with 1 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom. This apartment still has the decorated original ceilings, and mosaic floors.
Each bedroom has one double bed (140x200cm and 135x190cm) and the sofa-bed in the living room is 135x190cm. The apartment sleeps up to 5 people. Though, the occupancy of 4 would ideal.

There is a private terrrace with table and chairs.
Please note note currently we do not accept stays of group of guests under 30 y.o., which are unaccompanied by adults over 30 y.o.
We kindly remind you that parties of any kind are not allowed in the apartment and the terrace. STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Please note it is very important to be very respectful towards the neighbors, to keep the noise down during the day and not make noise at all from 10PM to 8AM.

It was a lovely stay. We were 6 adults and the apartment is like the photos. Sunny, welcoming, near Sagrada Familia and the host was easy to communicate with. For the price, it is very good. The beds are not so comfortable unfortunately and it could be cleaner. We were happy with our stay overall!

The apartment is tired looking, the entire place needs painting and the much of the furniture needs updating. The sofa is so old that the cushions slide off the frame when you sit on it, the dining room and patio chairs have wood or metal seats and need cushions. The fan and the towel heater in the main bathroom do not work. Smaller bathroom needs a towel rack or hook for a hand towel,The WIFI/ is VERY slow - it needs to be upgraded.There is a bad musty smell that comes from all the drains The noise from the elevator and the metro results in guests feeling the rooms shake on and off all day and the rumbling sounds are present all the time .

Die Lage der Wohnung ist super, sehr zentral, vieles zu Fuß zu erreichen, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel um die Ecke. Sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Für 2 Leute ist die Wohnung ideal, für 4 Leute etwas zu eng. Im 2. Schlafzimmer kann man sich kaum bewegen. Es hat kein richtiges Fenster und man hört dort auch den Aufzug. Es wurde von uns als Ankleidezimmer genutzt. In den Schränken fehlen Regalbretter, auf denen man z.B. Unterwäsche ablegen kann. Dafür sind ausreichend Kleiderbügel vorhanden.Die Ausstattung der Küche war okay, Kleinigkeiten, wie z.B. eine Teekanne, Feuerzeug und Zituspresse haben wir gekauft. Die Spülmachine und die Waschmaschine-/trockner sind ein Plus. Es gab Waschmittel und auch Spültabs. Kaffee, Tee, eine Grundausstattung an Gewürzen und ausreichend Geschirr waren vorhanden. Der Toaster fehlte, dafür gab es einen Backofen und eine Kühlschrank-/Gefrierkombination. In der Nähe des Tischs fehlte eine Steckdose, schwierig zum Arbeiten mit Laptop. Das WLAN war sehr instabil, obwohl wir verschiedene Netze ausprobiert haben. Man hört und spürt öfter die Metro in der Wohnung, dafür aber keinen Straßenlärm. Man gewöhnt sich daran. Die Möbel auf der Terrasse waren etwas unbequem und der Tisch dort sehr wackelig. Die Außenjalousien kann man nicht nutzen.Sie sind festgebunden, an der Terrassentür leider nicht hoch genug, deshalb war sie schwer zu schließen. Wir hatten zu zweit aber schöne 14 Tage in dieser Wohnung und würden wieder kommen.

Wir haben uns in der für Erkundungen von Barcelona perfekt gelegenen, schönen Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Zwar machen die Betten zunächst einen weichen Eindruck, tatsächlich haben wir aber sehr gut darin geschlafen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die schöne Terrasse. Ein fast verborgenes Highlight ist die wunderbare Dachterrasse. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war hervorragend.

Super war die Klimaanlage vor allem in den ersten sehr heißen Tagen. Esstisch war defekt, wurde aber sofort innerhalb von 2 Stunden nach Check-in repariert.Viele Bars, Restaurants, Supermärkte und Apotheken in nächster Umgebung Metrostation nur ein paar Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt. Nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Sagrada Familia Nur das WLAN war eine Katastrophe

The flat has beautiful, original features, also we had access to the roof terrace. It was in a great part of Exiample. There are plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants all around. Great public transport access, which was very easy to use. Barcelona is a beautiful city. We will be back.

Très bonne localisation, on a pu tout faire à pied.Logement propre et très bien optimisé. Nous étions 5 filles.Disponibilité de l’hébergeant parfaite. Notre petit soucis de flexible de douche a changer a été fait quasi immédiatement.Petit déjeuner en terrasse très appréciable de même que de trouver du thé, café sel et poivre et essuie-tout en libre service.Il y a même un carrefour ouvert 24/7 à 20 mètres de l’appartement.Je recommande totalement Petit bémol pour le sol de la terrasse où nous ne pouvions pas marche pied nu du fait du revêtement.

We enjoyed our stay - can't beat the location! Air conditioning was a huge PLUS after hot days of sight-seeing. The check-in process and host communication was excellent throughout our visit. The apartment was extremely clean (one exception was the shower).

Barcelona bliss!

Our family of five (kids ages 18,20,23) had a fantastic stay at this location! Hosts were clear and prompt. Home was clean, comfortable and beautifully air conditioned. The home is wonderfully located, well equipped and decorated and we had a great time as a result. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again…piece of heaven, thank you!

Wow this apt is soo cute exactly what I was looking for! It was just like the pictures, historic and Barcelona at its finest! The apt was really clean which I really appreciate and look for, there were more than enough towels, there was AC so needed. The location is perfect you can walk or catch public transportation which we did frequently! Great place

Sewer gas, great location

Instructions to check in were a bit fuzzy, yet we were able to access an apartment only to be told 3 hours later it was the wrong one. We were moved to another (the one listed) that had a terrible sewer gas smell. After 2 nights our host made arrangements for a 3rd place - which was wonderful. The hosts were accomodating, eventually, and the location was terrific! Do not book this specific apartment.

Our expectations were somewhat disappointed

The apartment is located on the mezzanine floor of a historic 5-story apartment building with a nice rooftop terrace. It's centrally located with good infrastructure (metro, restaurants and supermarkets nearby), most attractions are within walking distance. From the outside, the building appears immaculate, inside, it seems in need of renovation. The apartment itself was clean, but somewhat worn (furniture, kitchen). Upon entering, there's an unpleasant smell of sewage. There's a large outdoor terrace with sparse, poorly maintained plants; sunlight is limited by the surrounding high-rise buildings. The apartment is somewhat noisy due to the neighborhood, but street noise is completely inaudible. The master bedroom adjoins the outdoor terrace, but you have to keep the outside door closed at night because a large air conditioning unit is located directly in front of it, significantly disturbing the peace and quiet. Several things didn't work properly. The main problem was the completely inadequate Wi-Fi. Eight different routers from the building were offered for dial-up, but only two were even accessible, both with minimal transfer rates. There was no improvement even after resetting the main router. Unfortunately, the mobile network is also poorly accessible in the apartment. The guest toilet was broken from the start, and it wasn't repaired during our one-week stay.

City break

We stayed for a 3 night city break. Communication with the host was very good. The access code didn't work one night but this was rectified within 1 minute and we were given a key. We weren't in the apartment long enough to enjoy the outside space but the views from the rooftop terrace were amazing and lots of tables/chairs to use. As mentioned in a previous review, there was some metro and lift noise but this didn't bother us much, and would not impact us staying again. A close walk to Sagrada Familia (and City Tours bus stop). Lots of food and drink options nearby. Near to the metro too.

Definitely would stay again

This apartment is in the most ideal location. Very safe, and walking distance to many places, or a short walk to the metro. The apartment itself is a perfect size and the sunroom and patio are such an extra bonus, not to mention the rooftop! Loved it and should our travels ever get us back to Barcelona, this will be the first place I look to stay at.

Lovely trip to Barcelona

Tout était parfait! L’appartement où il est situé très central. Nous pouvions marcher à toutes les attraits touristiques. Beaucoup de restaurants et petits cafés à proximité. Le seul petit bémol, j’ai trouvé pour mon goût à moi que le matelas dans la chambre des maîtres était un petit peu trop mou. Sinon ce fut un merveilleux voyage. Liliana est disponible pour tous tes questionnements. Nous avons adoré. Nous y retournerons c’est garantie!
