"Great Bedroom and bathroom immaculate Great drinks outside and good supper inside Prices reasonable and staff helpful and friendly "

"The staff were very helpful and it felt homely and very comfortable. The food was enjoyable too. For an old building it was kept in good condition, nicely decorated and showed the history through artwork and photos."

"We stayed for 2 nights (Saturday-Monday) and overall the stay was good! The room was lovely, well presented, clean (needed a few touch ups but nothing major) and comfortable. The female members of staff we spoke to were very helpful. Unfortunately, the Saturday night is the reason I’m not giving more stars. "Upon check in the four poster room I had booked wasn’t available, was told they had a fire, this was untrue as the door was open and I looked in it was being refurbished with a new carpet waiting to be laid, totally lied to honesty is the best policy, we were give a dingy dirty room really horrible, how this has a 4.5 rating is beyond me I think they are fake reviews, my advice is don’t stay, the only plus side is that the breakfast was ok and really sweet waitress, I did receive 30 in drinks...

"Great location although parking restricted to road"
