This is a retaliation review. The guest did not complete their stay with us; they left prior to check-in and requested a refund. We must note that Allyson exhibited concerning behavior by making racially insensitive remarks towards our African American neighbors, referring to them as "you people" on multiple occasions. Allyson's refund request initially revolved around her not feeling safe due to the presence of African Americans in the building. We emphasized to her that we are a diverse and inclusive community, and discriminatory behavior is not tolerated here. We are committed to serving guests from all racial backgrounds. However, Allyson later changed her reason for requesting a refund, stating that she did not like the neighborhood, seemingly in an attempt to secure a refund. It's worth mentioning that we conducted an investigation into the maintenance sign posted at the pool area, and we discovered that there was a water main break beyond our control. Despite this, Allyson simply informed us that she had moved on from the property. In response to these incidents, our management team visited the property, but Allyson was not present. Given her racist behavior and continued harassment of our staff and team even after her scheduled check-out date, we have decided not to host Allyson again.
