"We had so so much fun during our visit! The location is so beautiful, we were so fortunate to see the peak of fall colors and it was breathtaking. We saw the sunrise over the mountains right from our cabin and we had a clear view of the sky for nighttime sky gazing too, the stars are so much brighter! The actual drive to the house was super manageable, didn’t need 4WD so long as you don’t try to drive up the gravel driveway, which Michelle advises against anyway. "The apartment was great! The location was good as it was close to the lake and Elizabethton. There were also a few shops, a restaurant and coffee shop right in Hampton. The beds were very comfortable and we lived that the place was decorated for Christmas. "

"Heat wasn’t working, took 2nd day to get it looked at and fixed. I had to repeatedly initiate the communication about this issue. When I was finally contacted, I was told only HVAC repair person could fix it. The next day after I called and texted, a maintenance man(not hvac) showed up and did find the problem. But for the amount of money we paid it was pretty much a hole in the wall place and we wondered what we were pulling up to when we showed up...
