Entire Guest Suite in Haus Edelweiss on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Haus Edelweiss awaits you in the heart of Little Switzerland at over 3500’ of elevation! Situated directly off the Blue Ridge Parkway and less than one minute to all that Little Switzerland has to offer including: shopping, dining, (seasonal dates are April-October), and hiking to Grassy Creek Falls. Up to four guests enjoy a private entrance, own deck, kitchenette (range/oven, sink, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster), living area, queen-sized bed, pull-out couch, full bath, washer/dryer, flat screen smart tv, and wifi.

The space: Guests will have over 600 square feet of living space and their own deck.

Other things to note: Little Switzerland shops and dining are closed during the winter months of November-March, but the Blue Ridge Parkway remains open as long as there is no snow or ice. There are several nice towns nearby such as Marion, Spruce Pine, Bakersville, and Burnesville that have shops and dining year round.

In the winter months be prepared for snow/ and or ice covered roads including our driveway. We cannot guarantee that the driveway will be cleared due to unpredictable weather and the lack of snow removal equipment. If there is a chance of snow/ ice, you will be required: to either drive a 4WD vehicle, have snow chains, or park below and walk up our steep 200 meter paved driveway. We will let you know of any impending hazardous weather when you book with us.
