CASA BURLAMACCHI

'Casa Burlamacchi' is a gorgeous CATERED villa which dates back to the XV Century, completely renovated in 2020-2022, with a beautiful private garden and pool (10x5mt).
The ground floor and first floor have frescoed ceilings with fine eighteenth- and nineteenth-century paintings.
The villa, together with a small amount of nearby houses and villas, lay on an enjoyable and privileged position, within easy reach of the town centre of Bagni di Lucca (5 minutes walk).
Immersed in a typical Tuscan landscape, sleeps up to 16 people and it is an ideal destination for those looking for a relaxing holiday amongst serene surroundings with culture and other diversions close to hand.

THE VILLAS
Casa Burlamacchi is a three-story building of 500 square meters facing the charming Piazza del Bagno, an historical little square in the middle of a typical Tuscan Borgo, where the ancient thermal baths are located.
The bedrooms -3 double king size, 1 double queen size +single, 2 twins/double king size and 1 family suite king+twins/double king size- are all with ensuite bathrooms.
The interiors, accurately and elegantly redecorated with XVIII and XIX century furniture, are typical of the residences of the region of Lucca. The precious and light fabrics, the meticulous attention for details, and interior lighting make all the environments very warm, cozy and comfortable. In the summer the Villa is cool inside even in the hottest days, although the top floor rooms have air-condition; during the winter, its efficient heating system guarantees the residents comfortable and pleasant stays.
There is a professional kitchen where the chef will prepare typical Tuscan and Italian meals, and an equipped kitchen on guests availability for snacks and drinks, and large common areas in 2 living-rooms and dining room.

Our renting formula is 'Catered Villa'.
We will pamper you with the scents and flavors of the Italian cuisine, with well-kept dishes prepared on the spot and served in the beautiful scenario of our garden.
Our chef will offer you a variation of delicious menus always based on fresh and seasonal products, according to your taste and specific needs.
The pizza oven will guarantee authentic and enjoyable pizza nights.
International home made breakfast is included in the price. We have an ‘every day' formula which includes light lunch and 3 courses dinner for 50€ per person per day (drinks not included).
We will offer you a selections of wines and spirits for purchase, it’s not allowed to bring your own alcohol.
Special Menus based on particular ingredients such as truffle, shellfish or similar, same as wine tastings can be organized on request.
Self catering not allowed.

SPA&WELLNESS
Our wellness area includes a message bed and a small gym.
Different services such as body and facial beauty treatments and massages can be booked.


GARDEN
The back of 'Casa Burlamacchi' face the garden, which is spacious with a fabulous view towards the Tuscan valley and mountains. There is rich vegetation in the meadow and big ancient earthenware basins with flowers. The area in front of the villa is large, both with areas exposed to the sun and areas hidden in the shadow. There is a big table with chairs and various pieces of garden furniture made of wood and wrought iron. The place is most suitable for resting, reading or talking in the shades of secular trees. It’s also perfect for having a typical Tuscany dinner during a cool refreshing evening. Adjacent to the villas, running down along the hillside, there is a vast area of private terraced gardens leading to a small forest. This is where is located the vegetable garden. Here and there one can find ancient stones and marble garden seats, rose bushes and other scented flowers.
Our villa is an ideal place both for those who search for peace and intimacy within the luxurious building immersed in green foliage as well as for families with children who can play freely in a natural and well protected environment.
Everyone will enjoy a refreshing jump in the pool, which is 10x5x1,5mt, beautifully decorated with mosaico tales and surrounded by two old big Carrara marble bath tubes original from the ancient spa.
