Great rates and location, but older cabin with unreliable WiFi
My two friends and I found this property to be very reasonably priced and within an appropriate driving distance from Sequoia National park. The cabin itself was charming, however, it was a little more run down than we were expecting from the pictures. When we arrived the coffee carafe seemed a bit dirty and there were some pieces of furniture that seemed broken and unsuitable to use for sleeping arrangements. The coffee carafe ended up breaking as we were soaking it with other dishes in the sink and one of the chairs broke upon sitting in it. We have been charged extra to replace and fix these broken items, however, we are in the process of requesting a refund for these items from the owner as the items seemed to easily break from wear and tear over time, and not from our usage. While the WiFi information provided said it would be accessible in certain areas of the cabin, we found it difficult to even to send emails in the areas that were recommended. Lastly, the cabin was a bit closer to the owner's property than we would have liked and the key to lock the cabin door did not seem to work properly. Overall, the owners were responsive to our needs and we are hoping they will understand our request for a refund for the broken items that were needing replacing anyway. If you’re looking for a place within budget to sleep for the night, this place is perfect and the cabin will meet your needs.
