"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

"Communication was excellent. Location was great for what adventures we had planned. The basement apartment had everything we needed. The two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom was well equipped. Only thing that we did not enjoy was zero windows or way to see outside. Great place of you need a place to sleep, eat relax outside and quiet. "

The rooms were comfortable and the layout was perfect for our family. David was extremely receptive to all communication and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time in Canaan. We will definitely be back! *Don’t forget your fishing poles! Our 6yo son caught a huge bass, and two huge trout!"

"Loved the cabin! My only complaint was that the upstairs bed got hot during the night making my daughter uncomfortable. We put the fan up there the second night but it didn’t seem to help. She slept on the loveseat. Everything else we loved! "
