"We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. "Excellent stay at the River House Lodge. Our host Tim was a very accommodating and gracious host. He went out of his way to show us the local attractions and teach us the history of this area. "At first glance the place seemed a little sketchy since it looks like an old school motel from a horror movie. However, the room was amazing! Beautiful wood flooring, all new renovations extremely nice beds and a perfect use of the space! Awesome experience and would absolutely stay here again! "

It was really fun getting to tour the town and see a lot of beautiful places. The room was perfectly sized as well as quiet!
