Long House on the Bay

Lovely location. Lots of herons, ducks and deer to watch while you enjoy a cup of coffee on the pier/deck. Location has quite a bit of traffic and there was some loud motorcycles traveling at speed in the evening.

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with sights that were simply beyond belief. Love this place!

Beautiful and spacious, not as small as the pictures made it look. Very pleasantly surprised. Kitchen is well stocked, even has an air fryer! The views from Stateroom 1 were beautiful, I bet room 2ā€™s views are even better. The bed was super comfortable. The only critique I have, would be to put the nice room darkening blinds that are in the living and kitchen areas into the bedroom. Looking forward to staying there again on our next trip to Astoria.

Astoria water view stay

Outstanding. Everything was so well thought out. Lots of attention to every little thing inside and out. Lovely views out over the bay waters from all the living areas, bedroom and kitchen. Everything was attractively done and very well taken care of inside. Very clean. Nicely appointed kitchen, living area, bathroom and laundry. A little off the beaten path of the city but not much. That meant a peaceful stay where you could watch the bufflehead ducks, green wing teals and cormorants in the morning then take a short drive to the various attractions in and around Astoria. Even a beaver (not a nutria) came by early while we were there. One of the nicest most well taken care of VRBO's we have ever stayed at. The owners clearly have taken great pride in this property. Parking is snug but easy once you pull in.

Center of it all!

Parker Landing was a perfect place for our romantic/birthday weekend. Beautiful views, beautiful stateroom with everything you need. Great access to town without being in the center of it all.

I could not stop telling all my family and friends what a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful place this is! Unbelievable, and I mean that, value for the dollar! Thereā€™s a little bit of traffic noise in the morning but nothing to bother you. For me, the bed was much too soft, but I like a really firm mattress Other than those small things, everything was exquisite! LOVE THIS PLACE!

Spent a weekend here to visit Astoria. Great views of the river on both sides, close to town but quiet neighborhood. Super clean and easy check-in/check-out. Would recommend!

Beach vibes and water views

We went to Astoria to relax and explore in Fall 2022. This place was the perfect location to meet our needs. Open water views out walls of adjacent picture windows from the living room and peaceful water/ wildlife views from the patio deck. It was super comfy, clean and inviting. Our host was very thoughtful and allowed us an early check in and made sure the accommodations served all our needs. Such as a little coffee bar, toiletries, nice soaps. Extra linens, and even thought to provide a jar of new hair ties (because a good ponytail is a must on the beach! ) The location was easy to find and nestled just far enough away from the city hustle and bustle. The assigned parking was nice and close and the digital code lock made life easy with no key to keep track of. We were sad to leave and look forward to returning again.
