"The house is even prettier than the pictures, with striking views of the river and mountains beyond. We arrived to a fridge filled with the best smoked salmon I've ever tasted as well as homemade goose sausage (yum!). The house was spotless and there was a vase of fresh flowers in the living room. Check in was effortless and all instructions were in a binder for us."

"Wow! What a beautiful, clean and comfortable stay in Octopus Lair!!! Our family absolutely loved all the details in the house and appreciated the comfortable beds. It was nice that so much was provided for use in the kitchen: coffee, pods as well, sugars and powder creamer. All the ziploc bags and foil and wrap to store leftovers was so nice. The area was great and the house provided lots of entertainment. Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home "

"We were pleasantly surprised how close to the beach access it was. Not only that but it was the perfect entrance to a part of the beach that wasn’t so abundantly full and had a clear path in and out. There is also Seaside Market very close near the house for last minute needs which was a bonus. If you hop in the car your maybe a 3-6 minute drive to the promenade and the aquarium, plus the heart of downtown and lots of good sopping and eats. The house was perfect for a big family or 2 families....

The location truly can’t be beat—steps from the beach, right by the boardwalk, and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Long Beach. Fireworks on the beach were next-level, and it was amazing to watch the chaos and color unfold right outside the property.The unit itself was clean, quiet, and tastefully furnished, with a cozy vibe that made it feel like home....
