"The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home.
Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)"

"Staff where very friendly, but it was a maze to get to the room, clearer signs need to be put up to direct people to their rooms. Due to warm weather it would have been ideal for the rooms to have A/C"

"Young gentleman at reception was very polite and helpful.
The room at first appeared clean and fresh but later realised the bathroom was old and worn. The basin showed signs of wear and tear and discoloured looking very unhygienic as was the shower. Very disappointed unable to open balcony door for fresh air as the room soon became stuffy. There was a sign on the door stating 'broken do not open'."

"This is a really good hotel. The location is great for the theatres and cinema in Nottingham. It's in front of Rock City and a 20 min walk from the station. There are good restaurants nearby but the hotel also has 2 restaurants, room service and bar meals. It's worth upgrading to use the Club Lounge too. Comfy beds, quiet rooms and a bath! Theres a pool and soa too. No complaints!"

"I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside."
