Beary Relaxing-Cozy Getaway for Family and Friends- Pet Friendly

Recently renovated 75 year old mountain home. 3 bedroom / 2 bath house less than 10 minutes from Sierra Nevada, 15 minutes from Biltmore House and 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Close to hiking trails, Blue Ridge Parkway, and conveniently located near the Asheville Regional Airport. Short drive to shopping, restaurants, and local breweries. Amenities include, Wi-Fi, full-size washer/dryer, plenty of parking, Keurig coffee/tea and bottled water. Dog-friendly fenced-in back yard.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, living room and separate dining room. There is a deck in front of the house with a side table and chairs. It is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. The back patio overlooks the fenced in lot with a nice mountain view.

Great spot for the 6 person family to hang out for our Biltmore visit. Doug was very available and helpful, the accomodations were excellent, the extra snacka and book with local recommendations were great touches, and the dog toys and treats were an extra bonus. Definitely would consider for another Asheville trip!

The Beary-relaxing house was perfect for us. Enough space for us to have privacy yet be together. The thoughtful little touches throughout the house made it feel like home. The fenced in yard was awesome when it came to letting the dog out. Doug, our host, made sure everything was okay when we arrived and was prompt with his communications Overall, it was an excellent visit and we hope to return to the Beary-Relaxing cottage on our next visit to Asheville.

Truly perfect! We were greeted by a friendly sign inside welcoming us. There were snacks and bottled water provided. The kitchen had everything you need to make full meals. The bathrooms were well supplied and nice towels. All beds are really comfortable with quality bedding and pillows. Each room has an individual window air conditioner providing excellent cooling throughout the house. The grounds were really great......freshly cut grass, 2 nice decks (1 in back and 1 in front), huge fenced yard. We all agreed......we would stay again and again. Thank you for provided top notch home for our stay.

This little cottage was very relaxing and peaceful. The place was exceptionally clean. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, utensils, etc. The drive up to it was a bit winding, but very pretty. It was easy to get to the places in Asheville we wanted to visit and a quick trip to get to the Biltmore. We especially liked the mural commemorating the flood last year.

The home was beautiful and extremely clean. Especially for a home that allows dogs. You expect to see some dog hair somewhere but there was none. There wasn't any dust. It was immaculate.

Gorgeous home wonderful stay

Beautiful home lots of extras, coffee all amenities snacks bottled water this place has it all. wonderful backyard for your four-legged friends fenced. we’ve stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this is by far our favorite will be back. Thank you for your hospitality.

The Ideal Spot for a Peaceful Asheville Vacation

Our family (me, my husband, children (11, 15, and 18 years) and our daughter's boyfriend decided to take a last minute trip as a farewell to summer and we are so glad that Doug and Terri's place was available. It is the cutest renovated home that was so cozy for all 6 of us. It was impeccably clean, had a fully stocked coffee bar, and all of the essentials in case you forgot anything. The best part was the fenced in back yard that was perfect for our little jack russell terrier. We would, without question, stay here again.

Family Vacation

My husband and I took our 17 year old grandson and his friend for our last vacation before they graduate high school. We loved the house and the location. They wanted to stay another night, but we had to get home!

Truly a gem!

A group of friends who were entered in a nearby dog show stayed for the second year at "Beary Relaxing". I cannot say enough good things about it, from the charm, the decks, the wonderful yard our dogs enjoyed, the cutlery and bed linens! It is a wonderful home to which we hope to return again and again.

Peaceful Place

Such a beautiful and peaceful setting. Everything in the home has been updated and was very clean. Many extra touches that make it feel so homey-books, games, coffee, bottles of water, etc. It is also very close to Christ School and surrounding great restaurants, shopping. We came for graduation festivities and it was so convenient. Highly recommend.

Felt like home!

My husband and I were very pleased with this home! They had everything we could have needed and then some. Doug and Terri were very easy to communicate with and the house rules were very straightforward. We brought our two small dogs and they loved the glass sliding door to look out of and especially loved the big fully fenced backyard. It was very close to town and in a nice neighborhood. We would love to stay here again!

Great weekend stay.

We had a great weekend stay at Beary Relaxing Cozy Getaway. We brought our two dogs and it was a perfect setup for them. Flat, fenced in backyard. We hosted a small dinner party outside and there was plenty of outdoor seating and a picnic table. The living room was the perfect size for watching Saturday football.

Dog show respite!

Fabulous, charming home and SO NICE to come home to after a long day at a dog show at the WNC Agricultural Center. There and so many nice amenities offered with this home, and the hosts were beyond helpful. We are already committed to coming back each year we show here (and will have to keep details of this gem of a rental under our hats and away from other dog folk!!)

Our stay at " Beary Relaxing"

My family and I stayed at this home on April 4>6,2024. It was a cozy and comfortable experience. The home is quite furnished with supplies,towels, and snacks. Great location for getting to Biltmore Park and Biltmore Estates- the host, Doug, was great in his communication responding very quickly to our emails. Great Location and Super Clean!

My wife and I came to the area to visit the Biltmore Estate. This house is a perfect location for Biltmore and downtown Asheville activities (about a 15 minute drive to the Biltmore gate). The house is very nice on the outside - there is a porch and deck outside the front door and a porch outside the back door overlooking the fenced in back yard. The area was very quiet and sitting on the back porch in the mornings and evenings was wonderful. The back yard is completely fenced in and was perfect for our dog. We were pleasantly surprised by the roominess of the house - it is larger than appears in the photos and although this trip was just my wife and I along with our dog, an additional 4 adults/children could easily be accommodated. The house was spotlessly clean in every room - including the bathrooms, and everything that we needed for our 4 night stay in the house was provided in ample supply. The linens and towels were of very good quality, and there were snacks, bottled water, and coffee for the Keurig coffee maker when we arrived. We did not cook any meals during our stay, but the kitchen appeared to have what we would have needed if we had. The check in/out instructions were straightforward, and Doug and Terri checked with us several times during the stay to make sure everything was good. We had no issues at all with our stay but I believe they would respond quickly and effectively if anything did come up. We will definitely stay again when we come back!

Doug and Terri thought of everything. We really appreciated all of the extras. They definitely went above and beyond. The house and beds were comfortable and our dog loved the backyard! The area is also very convenient to the biltmore and many points of interest In Asheville. We would highly recommend their place.
