Summary:
Large one bedroom end unit at Seascape Beach Resort. Rare walk-in-kitchen, full size fridge & ample space for cooking. Separate wet bar to fix drinks & snacks. Open dining area, desk workspace & spacious living room with cross seating-great for gathering. Big tv & fireplace. Private ground floor patio located next to the beach path-enjoy a walk down to the white sands beach, listen to the tree top breezes, trickling water, singing birds & watch for bunnies & baby deer as they play on the path.
The Space:
Parking is offered right outside this ground floor unit. Step inside to a spacious bedroom with tv, a bathroom with step in shower/tub and sink with cabinets and space for your personal toiletries. A wet bar is situated across from the working desk. This large open floorplan offers an open dining area, oversized living room with cross seating to play games or watch the large tv above the fireplace. Kitchen is upgraded to include stainless steel appliances. Full-size refrigerator with separate top freezer, microwave, stove, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker and toaster. (NOTE: most 1b offer only a kitchenette!) The private first floor balcony off the living room offers beautiful views of the canyon. Just outside is the walking path that leads down to the ocean with beach access. This building is connected to the main lodge where you will find Sanderling's restaurant & bar, the indoor fireplace with roundabout seating and the outdoor firepit-Enjoy the best resort Aptos, CA has to offer!
Guest Access:
PROPERTY ACCESS: The property has an electronic door lock that is accessible anytime during stay. We will send out the check in instructions the day before you arrive. You can expect to receive them via your booking platform's app messaging system.
FREE AMENITIES: Use of the North Bluff Pool and Spa; access with your guest code - we provide pool/beach towels in your unit. Use of beach and any open firepit (fires are allowed on the sand). Use of lobby round seating area at fireplace. Use of walking paths and overlook benches.
Use of the gym is available for an additional fee (to be paid on-site).
Concierge services, front desk services, towel service, access to staff operated golf carts, $250 bonfire pit rentals, $75 smores packages, and south bluff and main lobby pools are not available to private renters.
The Neighborhood:
Located just south of Santa Cruz off Highway 1, Seascape Beach Resort gorgeous accommodations overlooking the Monterey Bay.
The entire resort sits atop breathtaking bluffs overlooking the ocean and beaches below. The walking path in the center of the resort leads down to the beach.
On the resort you will find The Seascape Park, Numerous walking paths, The Sanderlings Restaurant and bar, the North Bluff Pool and Spa, and a full gym (gym access with additional fee paid on-site).
Across the street from the resort, you will find Seascape Village which offers restaurants, cafes and shops.
The PGA rated Seascape Golf Course is only 5 minutes from the resort.
In the Heart of Aptos just over three miles or 10-minute drive you will discover what happens when the redwoods meet the sea. This idyllic setting is perfect for mountain biking, hiking or exploring the historic village. In the village you will meet the lovely people of Aptos who love their town and its visitors. Pick your favorite spot to start and your adventure begins-many will invite you to enjoy the happenings of the day throughout the town. There are so many things to do here including wine tasting, shopping, pub crawling, fine dining and so much more. Take a hike in the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park-it's magical!

Getting Around:
Complimentary parking is available outside the unit and throughout the resort property.
All on-site amenities are accessible by walking paths or if preferred by car.
To access the beach at Seascape there is a walking path next to the main lodge that leads down to the ocean where you will have beach access.
NOTE: the walk out is the same way back UP to the resort.
The Seascape Village is just across from the Resort and can be accessed by walking.
The quaint town of Aptos is just over three miles away-about a 10-minute drive.
Capitola Village is about 8 miles away and can be reached by car in less than 15 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
There are no daily housekeeping services. The property is cleaned before arrival and after departure. We provide hand soap, dish soap, dish towels, paper towels, toilet paper, fresh linens for each bed and a full set of towels for each guest to include wash cloth, hand towel, bath towel and beach towel. A 3-in-1 shower wash is provided. A cleaning kit is located under the kitchen sink for cleaning up spills or tidying up during your stay (please do not use premier towels or linens to wipe up spills). Note: there is a laundry room with a complimentary washer and dryer located in the parking garage below your building should you wish to freshen your linens during your stay.
We provide a well-stocked condo for your stay including a kitchen complete with pots, pans and dishes and utensils - everything you will need for cooking a hearty breakfast, lunch break or family dinner after a day of adventure. We supply Keurig coffee maker with pods & supplies to get your vacation started off right.
Pool towels, as well as additional bedding supplies can be found in the bedroom closets.
Concierge services, front desk services, access to staff driven golf carts are not available.
The fitness facility and bike rentals available for an additional fee (to be paid on-site).
$250 bonfires & $75 smores packages booked through the front desk are not available to private renters, but you are welcome to build your own in the sand (Seascape is one of the few California beaches that still allows for open fires)- supplies can be purchased across the street at Seascape Market or any other grocery store in the area. See the guest welcome binder for local stores-note: deliveries can be made to your unit.
Use of the North Bluff Pool and Spa is accessible, access with your guest code.
NOTE: Please be aware that due to cooler climate experienced from ocean breezes, properties in Santa Cruz County, especially near the coast, typically do not have air conditioning.

Great location, easy process, effortless vacation!
Property was just as pictured, nice and clean (dropped a star on cleanliness just because a few spots could use some maintenance - paint touchups and a loose chair leg on one of the dining chairs). With this location, it was mostly a place to sleep, shower, change, and get back out to the beach/pool/trails. Very comfortable with a family of four - two in the bedroom, two on the fold-out couch bed. Check-in was seamless, check out was the easiest I've ever had on a VRBO (start the dishwasher on your way out!), host was responsive and anticipated most of our questions with well-timed communications. Fantastic place to relax. The unit is right next to the walking path down to the beach.

Perfect for us!
This unit initially got my attention because it is a ground floor unit and we are traveling with my elderly mother. As I compared it to other units, I noticed that this unit has a lot more windows than other units, so we booked it. I'm so glad we did, it was perfect for us. The front door is at street level but it's actually above the parking garage so the kitchen, dining room and living room windows and balcony make you feel you are on the second floor. There's lots of natural light and greenery, and the kitchen looks down at the street which is fun for people watching. We loved it so much, we booked an extra night while we were there. We got lots of use of the kitchen and fireplace. (Even though we stayed in June, it was pretty cold due to the fog.) We highly recommend this unit.The property manager was also very responsive and gave us 5 star service!

Condo was perfect, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay! Easy access to the pools and trail to the beach. We unexpectedly arrived early and were able to check in early no problem!
