"The staff is wonderful the food and the bar was great. The only problem is the property is old. It is 11 century. It was cold in our room. We had to get an extra heater, but the Inn provided that and there was an issue with the water, we had no hot water one day. But again it’s 11 century Inn, I think it’s great for a night or two, but we stayed four nights, probably won’t do that again only because of the age, TV also was not working properly. "Very noisy because of the pub below so until 23:00 loud then from 05:00 in the morning music starts again and people singing so if you want to party I guess it’s the right place but if you want to rest get yourself a proper hotel room, me personally I wouldn’t go back "

"Certainly not as nice as the photos make out. We would not stay again and do not recommend it. Poor nights sleep for many reasons. Not a good shower. Smelly bathroom, noisy fridge, very light in room at night due to fire exit light in room ...hard pillows. Also very glad breakfast wasn't included based on what we saw. Overpriced for what it is. "

"Return visit, overnight stay to attend a funeral next morning. Checked in at 8:10pm (not a very warm welcome), only to be told the restaurant closes at 8pm. In a hotel! "The building is very old. With this comes issues with either a very steep staircase up to the rooms or use of an emergency exit at the rear (which is made of metal steps with a precarious old mat dangerously situated at the top). The room was lovely but it was very hot as situated above the kitchen. The weather was forecasted to be 28/29 degrees and I had to ask for a fan.
