"The hotel is very well located (walking distance from the main historic street), clean and comfortable (large bathroom and really cozy room). Breakfast was very good in quality and quantitity. Loved the complimentary bike and backpack, which I used everyday and thoroughly enjoyed. They offer cheese and wine in the afternoon and all day service of cookies and lemonade, which is a nice touch. "We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!"

"This is an older hotel so one has to keep expectations reasonable. I did have a significant issue with the water temperature in the shower. I articulated the issue to the General Manager and she timely investigated my complaint and offered an appropriate credit. The proximity of the hotel to the beach is its best feature. The continental breakfast was a nice start to the day. "
