"Tive uma boa surpresa ao chegar. Na verdade era um resort com apartamentos muito grandes. Um tanto antigos, mas muito acolhedores. Chegamos numa noite fria e de chuva e o atendimento na recepção foi de primeira. Inicialmente não localizaram nossa reserva, mas o atendente foi muito simpático e nos deu uma acolhida excelente, dando informações sobre o que visitar, onde comer, etc. No final ainda não aceitou a gorjeta. "Room was updated and spotless. New carpet, paint, bathroom vanity, and more. A fantastic value imo. We've been staying here for many years & it never disappoints. It's close to EVERYTHING in NMB & just a stone's throw away from Myrtle but without those resort prices. Pool was clean & open. Highly recommend for families or solo travellers."

"The room (407 Ocean side) was more than comfortable. The fact there was a fridge, microwave and stove added to the comfort to those (like us) who bring home left-overs. The shower was clean - the property was well maintained and having 2 parking lots was essential for our security. The morning breakfasts were not bad at all and had various things to eat on any given day from eggs to waffles to potatoes (wife said they had a little too much seasoning though - for her) and the meats they offered...

"Where the view, location, and room size were amazing, the room itself left much to be desired. It was very outdated (I am sure at one time the furnishings and decor were popular at one time) and had an “old” odor. The couch was very worn with odd pillows and the lighting throughout was very dim. The kitchen sink faucet was not properly affixed and felt as though it was going to come off every time we used it."

"If I could give this place zero stars I would. The rooms are disgusting and look nothing like they look on the pictures online. The room they gave me had mold on the lampshade, paint chipping off the walls, broken outlet covers with exposed outlets. I asked the front desk person if I could cancel my reservation that I only reserved only an hour and a half before I got there, and he told me that I could cancel but he would charge me $800 if I did. I still didn't stay in the room. I left...
