The Great Room is the focal point of this mountain retreat and separate living spaces make this the perfect home for multiple families or generations vacationing together. Plenty of tables and chairs for indoor and outdoor dining. The gourmet kitchen has two ovens, a gas stove, a large bar, double sinks and plenty of dishes and cookware for you to cook for a large party. Soak up the cool sunshine and unwind in this secluded, one of a kind home. Sitting atop 38 private acres and boasting 360-degree mountain views, this spacious home truly has everything you need for a fantastic getaway. The house is 45 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area boasting some of the best snow in the state, the historic mining town of Creede, Penitente Canyon Recreational Area, and Wheeler Geologic Area. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is about an hour away. Surrounded by fantastic hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and rock climbing this is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream vacation home. The indoor heated pool is always a hit with the younger crowd while the adults can enjoy some downtime in the hot tub or sauna. The heated garage has plenty of room for your sleds, dirt bikes, UTV’s, or mountain bikes and there is plenty of additional outside parking for your trailers as well.

This large house was very secluded, just what we wanted. The photos for the listing does not due justice. It was large enough to have a small family reunion. The host (Bill) was awesome and was very responsive when contacted. Our only issue was the pool. According to the host he recently lost his pool maintenance help. Having a pool of our we knew what needed to be done and the host allowed access for any supplies and was quick to lend a hand. Overall, we could not have had a better experience.

We had such a fantastic time! Check-in was super easy, house was beautiful, view was breathtaking! We enjoyed the pool, hot-tub, karaoke machine, fireplaces, & the 360 degree-views! The only reason for my 4/5 stars was because the driveway consists of a curvy road with a huge drop and no guardrails. This may be more common in Colorado, but as someone from out of state, a heads up/warning about the driveway would have been appreciated. Ultimately, we had a fantastic time & I would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a group of 5 couples and we couldn’t have been happier with the stay. The house and all we needed and more and we enjoyed time in the pool area. Coffee out on the porch was peaceful and the stargazing is top notch.

A group of 11 stayed everyone enjoyed themselves and wasnt ready to leave. Mr. Bill was a wonderful host and made sure to make our stay pleasurable.

The property was great for a large group with great views and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time together. Even with minimal snow it was still a great trip partly due to the amenities of the house.

Beautiful location with fantastic views of the surrounding area. We enjoyed our stay by spending time by the fireplace with the kids enjoying the pool and hot tub and hiking in the national forest. Excellent place for large family gatherings. We did have a couple issues which Bill addressed and made sure we were happy. We will be back again!

We loved this home! It has all you need. Ample space, love the different halls leaving a spacious feel. Lots of wildlife and not far from Wolf Creek Ski.

Bill was great to work with he came over and plowed the dive so we could get to the house. We had nearly 16 inches of snow the night we got there. He explained how to use the pool, hot tub, and sauna. We had a wonderful time watching wildlife in the yard.

Everything about this house was amazing! It had room for all of us with enough bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. The views from all around were breathtaking. We loved it was secluded and away from city life. Loved we all fit at the dinner table. Best of all this house was very clean. Thank you Bill for going above and beyond to make our trip great. We really appreciate all you did!! Will definitely be back!!

Our family loved our summertime stay!!! There was plenty of space for six adults and six children, and the indoor pool was a bonus. We enjoyed exploring the property and stargazing at night. The home is nicely situated near Del Norte, Southfork, and Creede. The host is very responsive. Highly recommend!

It was large enough to accommodate my husband, and I and our five girls with their families. The grandkids loved the pool, of course, and we loved the views, as well as the open space. My daughter said we needed to keep this home in mind so we can come back, and when it is time to leave my grandkids hide, hoping we would stay longer. :). Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with my family! What beautiful memories we will always have.

Bill was an amazing host. Very responsive and so helpful to make our stay in his home perfect. The house is big enough for a big family and the huge pool is a bonus. Clean home and has everything you should need to have a comfortable stay.

The house was perfect for our group. Attached pool and hot tub were great to have. We had some issues with the water pump. Bill responded immediately and the problem was fixed right away. The day we were supposed to leave there was a winter storm warning and the roads were very bad. Bill offered to let us stay another day because he was concerned for our safety. He had the driveway cleared at least once/day during the heavy snows. I cannot emphasize enough how easy he was to contact and how helpful he was throughout our stay.

This property had everything we wanted and more, it was well away from anyone else, and the pool and hot tub were a wonderful oasis. The only real downside was the sauna did not work, but everything else more than made up for it.
