"This was exactly as described and what we were looking for. My daughter (23) and I were looking for a place to just relax and unwind from busy life schedules just before Christmas. "This stay was a homecoming for me, since my parents had lived right on the St. Lawrence, and nearly the entirety of my late mom's family still live nearby. The area is largely agricultural, with many dairy farms and green pastures. It is a truly beautiful part of NY State and we were very much looking forward to getting back there to visit.
