"Lovely welcome very friendly"

"Stunning property, gorgeous & delightfully helpful owners ( Doug & Kay)& in a beautiful part of the country. Close to good restaurants, historical villages & towns. Just a perfect weekend retreat."

"Good hotel service and staff Bit out of town so need to get a cab / uber but free parking is a bonus"

"Very dated rooms & uncomfortable beds no air conditioning or fan. Breakfast only available 8.30 -9 am even though the information card in the room states 8.30-9.30, was told this is only at weekends? So why doesn’t information card state this? "Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent too. Will definitely return, thanks for making our stay so enjoyable."

"The bathroom had mold which had me sneezing. Historic doesn't have to mean unkept. Friendly enough but quality not quite there"

"Everything was amazing. Oliver was beyond helpful and kind!"

"Beatiful building and setting. Excellent staff. Food 7/10. Its classical which is fine but maybe uninteresting."

"We stayed in an outside room which was nice but the walls were very thin so we could hear guests next door talking. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful."
