"Amanda at reception at check in was wonderfully helpful at finding us the room as I had inadvertently booked the wrong date. She was understanding and cheerful. She deserves a big thank you. Also the food was delicious in the restaurant and staff delightful. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends. "

"The reception staffs are friendly especially Susan who is very welcoming. The room is clean and spacious. All the staffs are very welcoming. The hotel is located in a very good location not far from the wedding venue. Good value for money."
"Sheila and Mick were wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were great, the room was simple but clean and perfect for a single traveler. I dropped my wallet outside the car and 2 people got it inside to Mick for safekeeping! I hope to be back next year!"

"Checking in and out was really straightforward, with friendly helpful reception staff. We had dinner in the restaurant, and I thought the food was lovely. We were served by Natalie, who was brilliant."
"Really good hotel. Very well located at 2 min from the main market street Union Street ans 2 min away from the shopping Mall Union Square. Spacios room, clean, modern toilet facilities. Nice breakfast, with a restaurant and a pub within the structure. I plan to stay at the Douglas again on my next visit."
