"The photos in the listing do not do this house justice. The views from the garden are spectacular. It doesn’t even seem real! There is everything you could possibly need in the house. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, floor to ceiling books and a big shower with hot water. We wish that we could move there and stay forever."

"Lovely, comfortable cottage in a great location for a range of activities. Cosy for an October break but would be fantastic in warmer weather too. Our only small criticism was the night time temperature was set at 15 degrees and couldn’t be changed and while there was lots of cosy bedding we had a toddler who still wakes a couple of times in the night so it was a bit cold tending to him. Still a 5⭐️ break."

"Nice house in an ideal location to enjoy the local area. We stayed for a week and the location was great for a some exellent walking, cycling and relaxing. The house is well equipped, warm, comfortable and clean, it has the added bonuis of a lockable outhouse which was good for storing bikes. "We enjoyed a great week here in the area for the first time. The property met all our expectations and was a lovely base for activities in the area. We had some conversation with the host before our stay, checking a couple of things and responses were what you would hope for. The house is very comfortable with everything we needed for a good week's holiday - would be a super family base as well - the little beach opposite is a constant pleasure to see and pop over to for an outdoor coffee, etc."

Usually I stay in the ground floor rooms which are lovely however this week I was put into a 1st level room and I really enjoyed the light from the large windows. Brilliant stay 10/10"

"The grounds and the staff were great. The bed was super comfortable and the room appeared to be as well. That is, until it I learned that there was no aircon and they did not have fans. This left me with the option to open the windows the tiny bit they can be opened to cool the room. Unfortunately, this meant a million bugs since there is no netting on the windows. I ultimately had to close the windows, kill as many bugs as I could, and then spend the night alternating between slapping bugs...
