"Everything about the hotel was good, very pet friendly and also caters well for people requiring accessibility. Except in the food area, breakfast was t too bad for someone like myself who requires a soft diet however if evening meals were required there was nothing available for this kind of diet.especially if the guest wanted to stay in.

"I was completely shocked when we arrived and saw the state of this hotel. Run down, dirty, just unacceptable. There was supposed to be a dining room when I booked the rooms, but this closed between booking and arrival with no notice. I felt that the security of this place left much to be desired. Had to get the receptionist to show me how to lock the door ("old school: you have to pull the door towards you as you insert key into lock...!") As well, no screens on windows and windows left open to...
"Staying in a single room for the night. Old fashioned hotel in a stunning location. Clean and comfortable. Shower facilities good. Very peaceful and relaxing. Had a great nights sleep. Continental breakfast was okay at best. Avoid the fruit bowl. Saw several flies hovering over it. Plus the coffee machine was erratic. When it did work, the quality of the coffee was not great. Just two minor blemishes in an otherwise enjoyable stay."
