"5 floors only 1 elevator worked. That was time consuming for a busy weekend. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was better than most hotel free breakfast. Older property but clean."

"The room was clean. The staff was wonderful and very patient, parking was acceptable and seemed safe, and great air-conditioning. It may have been an issue of timing, but the continental breakfast seemed a little skimpy. PS doesn’t hurt to have the Waffle House within walking distance ha ha"

"The room had mold on the walls and smelled moldy. Other guests also complained of the musty smell. Staff was very friendly. We paid $300 a night for a room and this should have been more of $100 night room due to quality."

"Our travel companion is handicapped and needed a roll-in shower. He specifically called and spoke to person at the property and reserved that room not just an assessable room. He called more than a week prior to make sure it was available and was assured it was reserved. We got to the property and were told the room was not available. The man on duty says well I can cancel your reservation and you can go somewhere else. This was 4th of July weekend on Galveston Island. Not many choices at...

"We arrived at the hotel and was told it was canceled. We didn't receive an email or any notification of the cancelation. We had nowhere else to go. They scrambled to find us a room but the only room available didn't have AC. It's the middle of summer in Texas. They did give us a discount on the room with no AC but it smelled like mold & stuff & extremely hot."
