Ótima. Praia sem ondas, ótimo para nadar e tomar sol ou se preferir, ficar à sombra das árvores (cedros altos) ou das espreguiçadeiras. Funcionários: educados e atenciosos. Café da manhã: além do buffet, há a opção de escolher entre algumas opções do cardápio. Acesso à praia e ao centrinho: pelos fundos do hotel, através de uma pequena balsa que funciona até 21:00, após este horário basta ligar para o hotel e solicitar o deslocamento de um funcionário para realizar a travessia. Manutenção: necessidade de pequena manutenção externa (pintura e detalhes na madeira da fachada), todavia irrelevante, não subtraindo a beleza do hotel. Refeições: comida muito bem preparada, deliciosa, mas, se não gosta de pimenta, escolha entre os pratos sem o símbolo e certifique-se que não terá.

Our 11-night stay at the new RIU Palace Phuket fell short of expectations. No assistance was offered for airport transfers, so we arranged both ourselves. At check-in, no one explained RIU membership or Elite benefits. There was no on-site ATM or currency exchange; accessing cash required a taxi off-property. The store would not change larger baht notes, making daily tipping difficult. Housekeeping cleaned our room only two or three times. Visits were inconsistent and often came when we returned to rest. Cleaning requests in the app remained open for days without being fulfilled. We had to seek towels from hallway staff or carts. Restaurant reservations were difficult throughout our stay, with no advance booking available to us. We secured only a few dinners, leaving us mostly dependent on a buffet with limited variety. Rice dishes were sometimes hard from sitting under heat lamps. Poolside lunch at Pepe’s was extremely disappointing, and room service offered the same limited options throughout the day. Drink servers were unavailable outside the bar and adult pool bar areas, requiring walks elsewhere for drinks. Evening entertainment lacked energy, and music near the adult bar was sometimes off for extended periods. Karaoke, dance theme nights, and more diverse music would help. The resort needs more consistent service, better dining options, and clearer guest information.
