"Everything was fantastic. Swim up room was incredible. Agree with other reviews about the hotel restaurant being pricey compared to restaurants less than a 5 min walk down the beach (with better quality food!). Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Thailand. "

"We had a sea facing room. Lovely and spacious. Bath on the balcony. Clean room. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Pools were good and catered for families and there was an adults only pool and bar. Beach was clean. Plenty of activities. Food and drink were great quality. Breakfast was amazing. Hotel even had a barrista at breakfast ☕"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Merlin. The hotel is beautifully set in a jungle oasis, yet walkable to plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the nearby village as well as some great bars, cafes and massage parlours along the beach. The room was very comfortable and spacious, although the jungle setting did mean it was a little more difficult to make good use of our balcony due to the mosquitoes and meant a few more bugs than normal seemed to get into our room and luggage....

"Fabulous! I had a pool access room and it was great to avoid the crowd at the main pool. I did go to the beach twice which was nice, but I preferred the quiet. Staff was helpful and did a great job. The area around the hotel is great - tons of places to eat, get massages, etc. I plan on returning the same time next year!"

"Saubere Zimmer, großes Bett, leckeres Frühstück, tolle tropische Anlage mit schönen Garten und zwei große Pools. Immer nettes und freundliches Personal"

"Leider ist der Strandabschnitt etwas klein, aber unweit fängt ein sehr langer Strandabschnitt an, der nach 3 min. zu erreichen ist. Die Unterkunft selber ist sehr schön angelegt. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und immer bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir überlegen jetzt schon, wann wir nochmal kommen. Das Motto "Your smile is our happiness" wird umgesetzt. Weiter so. "

"The hotel was superb with outstanding landscaped property offering top class facility in a restful and tranquil atmosphere. The staff were amazing, extremely keen to meet all our needs. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent in terms of thr quality and variety. The hotel has fantastic range of facilities and activities for children. My only criticism is that given its remote location and the lack of ant local village or restaurants/ eateries, choices for...
