"The location was great, with a lot of restaurants, stores, and amenities within walking distance. The room was perfect. With a lot of attention to cleanliness, style, and ambience. it was like a 50s time capsule. The hosts were timely in communication and highly responsive. I had a wonderful stay. Will be back again."

"Awesome location, right on the river and less than a mile walk to the heart of Helen. If you like tubing, it is right next to the tubing company. The house is beautiful and furnishings match the wine theme. It was great to sit on the back deck and listen to the river at night. We had one, minor issue when we arrived and the owner was very responsive and got it fixed quickly. I hope to stay here again soon."

"The property owner is awesome to communicate with and willing to answer any questions you many have. The little bungalow is so beautiful and clean. We have stayed in many different places in Helen, but this one will be our place for now on. The cozy feeling of home away from home just made our stay perfect. "

"Property was conviently located close to all of the restaurants and shops. The Pink pig BBQ is in walking distance and absolutely delicious. I loved how spacious the property was and the view from the bedroom balcony was great. I would definitely stay here again and maybe book a longer stay next time. "

"We had the best time at Retreat 52! I took 5 "kids" (20, 18, 15, 15, 13) for a long weekend, visiting from Illinois. Things we loved:Hot tub was clean and nice.Fire pit area well lit and perfect for smores!Plenty of room in the house.Felt safe. Kids enjoyed playing pool (first time for a couple).Overall cozy feel.The porch was amazing!Host was helpful and responsive!Other notes:Would have liked to be able to see the golf course.Not recommended for anyone with trouble with stairs, lots of stairs...

"Our family had an amazing time at this house. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The view of the lake is amazing at sunset and the easy access to it made daily water activities a must. Definitely make use of those kayaks! The home was well cared for and very cozy. We found that we needed to grab things like hand soap and TP at the grocery store, but that was no biggie. Would absolutely stay here again. "
