Quiet, modern home. This is the place to vacation. Sit on the deck with a cup of coffee or drinks. Kick back, relax, and enjoy the exceptional long range mountain views. Curl up by the gas fireplace. The master bedroom in the loft has a queen size bed, private bathroom with shower and spa tub. The main floor has 2 bedrooms. 1 with a queen size bed. 1 bunk bed, with a full size and twin size arrangement. Perfect for kids. The living room features a river rock gas fireplace. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. This home has cable TV, WiFi. Paved all the way to the house. Close proximity to historic Murphy, new casino, and all the outdoor activities in the Murphy area, including whitewater rafting, world class motorcycling. hiking, hunting and fishing in the great outdoors.

Great location

Great cabin and location. View is amazing from the balcony. Very poor cleaning job. We found dog hair and dander everywhere and one of our kids is allergic so we had to deal with her breaking out in hives.

Great Views

This property was just the way that it was advertised. The views were great, the place was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Close to the town of Murphy and still in the mountains. The views were spectacular and the wildlife seen was an added bonus. Enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing mountain getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and in a great location. The views were spectacular and I could sit on the deck looking out over the mountains for days! We will definitely be back.

Everything was nice on the property enjoyed the views and that the only drawback was the grill was quite dirty took me two hours to clean and a wire brush was missing out of grill tools called the host said he would have cleaning people look into it

Mountain Viewā€™s & Sunsets

Property was Beautiful, amazing Mountain Viewā€™s and Beautiful Sunsets. Only problem which isnā€™t big is some of the outside lights (bulbs) didnā€™t work. I still give it a 5 out of 5. Definitely worth it house was clean and the views are great.

Gorgeous Views

This house had an amazingly beautiful view of the mountains! I enjoyed watching the sunset from the porch nearly every night. It was awesome watching the sun disappear behind the mountains and the colors in the sky that followed were breathtaking. We stayed for a week. Weā€™re a family of 6 (Mom, Dad, 3 teenagers, and a 1 year old) all of us enjoyed this home. The wildlife sittings were fun as well (deer, turkey, groundhogs). As far as sleeping arrangementsā€¦the older kids stayed downstairs and the little guy stayed in the loft with mom and dad. As mentioned in another reviewā€¦you can hear everything up in the loft. Once the little guy fell asleep, the tv was put on closed captioning and the older kids had to hang out in a room or on the porch. Cooking and doing dishes was another process that needed special care because the sound carried into the loft (this is completely expected and it wouldnā€™t be an issue if we didnā€™t have a one year old). For those of you with a little person, there are baby gates, but I think theyā€™ve mostly been used as dog gates. They do the job, but not the cleanest and not the sturdiestā€¦ we used one at the top of the stairs of the loft and the other at the top of the stairs on the porch (we had to use two chairs in front of the one on the porch so the little guy wouldnā€™t knock it over. There are some really cool trails and an awesome lake about 30 minutes from the house (Fires Creek and Hanging Dog are the ones we visited). The south end of the Blue Ridge parkway was about 1.5hrs awayā€¦not a bad drive, but the obviously the further north you drive the longer it takes you to get back home. The house was stocked with pretty much everything we needed. The grill was an added convenience. We cooked breakfast and dinner at the house every day and we had all of the pots/pans necessary. There was plenty of linens for all of us too. The only thing I can gripe about was the amount of dog/cat hair present. I spent the first night trying my best to de-hair the blankets, chairs, carpet and under the furniture ā€¦it could have just been that there was a very fluffy dog that stayed there before us. All-in-all this was a great place to stay and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful views and extremely clean.

Nothing short of PERFECT.

This rental was amazing!! Not only did my husband and I not want to leave but my 3 and 5 year old didnā€™t want to leave either. The view is to die for and the house was perfect! Itā€™s a perfect getaway for any family that wants to rent a cabin. The house and deck are so beautiful!! Our kids got to see some deer which they absolutely loved. I loved it so much I told my husband we have to go back!! Would recommend 10/10

Very clean. GPS takes you right to the location. Paved road very easy to get to. Everything positive that was covered in other reviews is true . Deer are everywhere. Having to take trash out to the drop site was the only negative, most likely standard practice as garbage trucks aren't climbing up a mountain šŸ‘šŸ˜. This was a last minute trip, the owner was accommodating. 1 star to VRBO and their ridiculous service fee, along with the censorship they do in the private messages. Shame on you VRBO. šŸ˜
