"We love visiting this unique hotel. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The lido is spectacular. Our annexe room is spacious and has a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The addition of a fridge in the room was very welcome."

"Nice enough, can't complain. Great building. Tidy room, somewhat lacking in power sockets. Disappointing bed and bathroom for the grade of room we had - executive superior. Average breakfast. All good, just not amazing."

"We only stayed for 1 night with our dogs, the grounds of the hotel are stunning with lovely views. We were only given 1 bottle of water for our room, when booking I was advised the additional supplement for pets would ensure plenty water in the room, this was not the case but we had plenty with us anyway so didn't see the point in mentioning it. "Beautiful room, great amenities such as restaurant and bar ( also serves food in the bar area) , pool and hot tub. Including free parking and free full breakfast which was very good. The grounds are well kept with lots of places to relax and enjoy the views. You can also eat and have drinks outside if you want to. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels."

"I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside."
