My husband and I live in Wilmington, NC and decided to rent a beach house to celebrate the holidays with my sister and bro-in-law and three kids visiting from cold, snowy PA. We checked in the Sat after Christmas and out on New Years eve. Lagoon North was the perfect gathering spot for us. The house was immaculately clean and well laid out for plenty of time together, but also lots of space to be quietly alone if desired. The kitchen was well outfitted. All the kitchen tools, pots, pans, tableware etc are well cared for and maintained. Plenty of board games and puzzles available to do with the kids also. Each space was thoughtfully decorated to be cozy and comfortable and the lighting and lamps provided considered for all types of activities (watching movies, playing games or doing puzzles, cooking, reading etc).The rooms and bed arrangements are perfect for multi fam gatherings. Both couples had king size beds to sleep in, the two youngest kids shared the bunk room, and my eldest nephew who is only 14 but is already over 6' tall (!) could sleep comfortably in the queen size bedroom. All the bedding was comfortable.Every room had stacks of books in all different genres which as a reader I loved! Easy walk to the beach and to the Wrightsville loop. We had such a great time we're already plotting a possible return gathering later this spring! Jamie and Ace, you have truly thought of everything one might need to feel at home.
