"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you.
The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !!
The grounds and the building, are kept immaculate.
The Spa facilities, again 10 out of 10, gym, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, swimming pool and outside hot pool, plenty...

"Loved the shower and bath combo. The lady on reception was very nice and knew the area well. Thank you for the flower petals on the bed! Saturday morning breakfast staff were great. "

"I don't want to tell people how good this place really is because I want to go back and don't want the price to go up.
It's a great hotel, great facilities but what amazes me is it feels nicer and friendlier than the armathwaite next door.
The staff are hotel professionals, Its nice to be addressed as sir by staff in proper uniform with ties. They do this while remaining friendly and never stuffy. Nothing is too much hassle.
The food's brilliant. Good quality and good portion sizes. Pool's...

"Room is very basic. Breakfast is basic. Nice chef though, came specially to apologise for the limited options. In general the B&B is overrated extremely overpriced. Not happy at all that I booked it"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the Grange. The staff was friendly, outgoing & full of recommendations. Our room was lovely, breakfasts were outstanding & the team went above & beyond in their service orientation. Highly recommended, we will be back!"
