"We stayed here for a weekend, to attend a wedding nearby - two adults and two children (aged 5 & 9). The configuration of the apartment was perfect: there are two double beds on the top floor, all kind of in the same room but separated by a wall (it makes sense once you see it), which was perfect for us. "Heron Cottage felt like a home, not a holiday let. It’s perfectly positioned, wonderfully stocked, and Naomi’s communication is friendly and helpful. I went to Hythe not knowing what to expect, and left with sadness having made friends. I highly recommend the house and the town. "

"We had a fabulous time! All the rooms have an ensuite bathroom which was great for us. The whole property is lovely and full of character. There were loads of useful bits and pieces in the kitchen and a lovely welcome basket that included wine and a big box of biscuits. Also a great selection of board games and jigsaws. We had a lovely few hours at Camber Sands which was a short drive away and had a fantastic sandy beach. Would 100% recommend staying here!"

"I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or returning to this property. "

"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that...
