"The hotel's refurbishment in public areas limits its current standard, and potential to be relaxing. Rooms need the refurb, however, and will hopefully get it soon. The restaurant is good, and staff are generally friendly and helpful, but cleaning is below par, notably lack of deep cleaning."

"The trek to our room was bad. We took the lift. Good. Then....we had to transverse a long corridor, then through anothher door, up a short flight of stairs, then another corridor! Maybe invest in another lift? Breakfast was Excellent - and plentiful. Our room was very nice. Breakfast staff were ..."

"Check in was very easy, staff on desk polite and nothing too much trouble. Room spotless and comfy. Good facilities, shower, tea and coffee etc. Breakfasts were very good with a decent choiceof food. Checknout was as easy as checking in. Would use again and definitely recommend."
