"This is a beautiful home and accommodations were great! We had a family of nine adults and two children and had plants of room. We spent a lot of time on the large deck playing card and dice games. Jake’s Supper Club is a great place to eat and is close by."

"My wife and I and our adult son stayed 10 nights in July/August for a nearby family gathering. The lodge was beautiful, spacious (bigger than we needed!), clean, comfortable, quiet and very well equipped -- we were easily able to prepare lasagne for 14 in the kitchen. The location is quiet with convenient access to nearby activities and amenities, but it all requires some driving. Unfortunately a combination of heat and Canadian wildfire smoke kept us from enjoying the extensive outside spaces...

"This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lake, no skiers, great deck, good beds, good pier, all the kitchen hardware you could need and just a cute, cozy atmosphere about the whole thing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the owner requires you take your garbage with you. I REALLY don’t like added requirements put on me after I get there. Put it in the listing. "

"This was an amazingly comfortable, spacious, and welcoming accommodation. We couldn't have hoped for more. All our needs and expectations were met and generally exceeded. Not only were towels, blankets, and all needed cooking equipment available and plentiful, but even games and entertainment were available. We even found a new family favorite board game! Don't miss the treasure hunt, which transfixed our children. It's well worth a mosquito bite or two.Access to the river is to your left and be...

"We had an awesome stay @ Lakewood Lodge!! Beautiful property and we felt right ar home. Very nice layout, loved the kitchen setup for entertaining, great appliances."

"It was very private and quiet. It was close enough to town to bike back and forth. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The porch was lovely but did have a couple of gaps for mosquitos to get in. I brought some 3m Thermocell and that helped with mosquitos. The stairs are not for the faint at heart or if you get up a lot at night. I alway hate the extra cleaning fees as I don’t make a mess and to me, that is the cost of doing business. The local taxes are high too. "

"This home is a great location for gatherings. It has 4 comfortable bedrooms and large open accommodating common spaces. Even though it rained almost our entire time the living spaces kept us having fun together at the large tables and great room style TV viewing room. We would have loved to have used the kayaks and canoe. Next time!"
