The kayaking trip was canceled last minute due to weather, but we took the disappointment in stride, because we had this beautiful hidden gem to come back to. "This was nearly perfect for us. Waterfalls! Forest and The Big Lake! Packer v. Browns on TV! Fine kitchen with gas range and fancy fridge. Clean and cozy, Stairs a hazard for toddlers and elders? Too close to highway for dog safety? "

Communication with the owners was the best. As stated in the listing, there's a washer/dryer. The setup for the lower bedroom is great for kids, but a little strange for adults as they have a queen bunk bed. We will definitely be staying there again if we travel to that area again!! HIGHLY recommended!!"

"A lovely, well maintained and furnished home, in a lovely location with nice cozy spaces on the inside. It was a great place to stay at and explore the natural beauty of the gogebic range, the south shore of lake superior, and the waterfalls and wilderness in-between. Having Weber lake within walking distance is a huge plus when visiting during the summer, and I have no doubts that it's an exceptionally nice place to stay for winter fun. "

"We had an awesome stay at the cabin. The amenities were exactly as described. Our family enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock and on the lake all week. Only thing I would say is be prepared coming in, as the drive for anything is 25 minutes away. But overall we had a great stay and would come back!!"
