We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely "home away from home" during the week of our visit to Winnipeg in late May and early June 2025. Thanks very much to Helena & Michael for providing us with such a great place to stay. For us, the highlights included: spotlessly clean home; extremely comfortable beds (great to get a good night's sleep after an activity-filled day); air conditioning (especially appreciated due to the hot weather during our stay); fully-equipped & well-stocked kitchen (everything we needed); location in a quiet, friendly neighborhood; easy, quick communication with our wonderful hosts, Helena & Michael.

Fantastic stay! This home provides everything you need and more. They've truly thought of every possible household amenity, including extras like children's toys. The addition of soaps and shampoos was a thoughtful touch. There were plenty of towels and linens, which added to the comfort of our stay. The house itself is beautifully designed from top to bottom and ideally located for easy access to local attractions, as well as near the south perimeter for convenient travel.The communication with the hosts was excellent. We entered the house with clear expectations and were pleasantly surprised that it exceeded them.Our only recommendation is to align the check-in and check-out times listed in the VRBO listing with those communicated in messages, as they currently differ. Also, offering this as a one-night stay would be perfect for a family like us, as it would be much more convenient than booking hotel rooms around the city for our frequent travels. Other than that, we'll definitely be returning!

The house was beautiful. Exceptionally clean, incredibly well stocked with all things needed for a very comfortable stay. The location in such a quiet area just made it all even better. I most definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a few nights in the city without being stuck in a hotel room.

Our hosts, Mike & Helena, were absolutely perfect hosts during every stage of our 6-night visit at their home...excellent communication throughout the reservation process, check-in, stay, and check-out. House was more than clean, it was completely sanitized & ready for us. Plenty of good quality bed, bath, and kitchen linens, and all the kitchware anybody could need. Loved the summer evening sunsets from the back patio! We would definitely stay here again.

I have used Vrbo on many occasions in different cities, countriesā€¦this property is definitely top of the list! The hosts have thought of everything. The check in process was very smooth, they communicated quickly, and the house was spacious and beautiful. We found the beds extremely comfy and there were such nice thoughtful touches throughout the house, from the tea bar and sweets to wonderful soaps and lotions in the bathrooms. Itā€™s in a new neighbourhood in Winnipeg, so although not near the more common areas of the city getting around is still easy. We would love to stay at this property again, and will highly recommend it to friends and family when they visit the city.

The property was beautifully decorated, spectacularly clean, in a very nice neighborhood. Nothing was missing, off-street parking, lots of space, lovely linens. Lots of space for this family of four. Nice fireplace, view of the prairies, everything we wanted. For our particular needs, it was a little out of the way considering we had to be in just about every part of the city. However, we would give up that little bit of inconvenience to stay here again. Thanks Mike and Helena!

We were in town from Eastern Canada and NY City for a family wedding. The house was a wonderful place for us to be together, and to get prepared for the wedding. Itā€™s beautifully decorated, comfortable, and has a great view of prairie fields in the distance. A gem!

Very pleasant stay in the south end of Winnipeg. Home is lovely and clean. Well equipped kitchen. Neighbourhood is still being built, but we heard no noise from outside construction.
