My room, bathroom and the communal facilities were really clean, although there were signs of wear in a couple of places, for example the bed base. I was in the original hotel, where the building itself could do with some attention in places (window ledges, etc) which I hope they attend to because it's a beautiful building in a wonderful location. "We stayed one night with our grandkids in a family room. Staff at check in were great - really helpful and friendly. Kids loved being able to use the pool. Breakfast was very good - fresh and plenty of vegan options. Although the room was a little dated it was clean and the beds were super comfortable. "
