Excellent property; a great B&B. Very clean & comfortable; good breakfast. Christine & Rod were pleasant hosts. Check-in was disappointing though ~ confronted by a $20 rate increase over the confirmed price that effectively eliminated the "sale" price promoted by Expedia. This should have been resolved between the Host and Expedia, rather than the "take it or leave it" attitude presented to us.

Lovely and very quiet location in the town of Windermere. Very cosy, comfy, relaxing B&B with wonderful hosts. Breakfast was awesome! I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Rod and Christine are amazing people. Their home was immaculate and the hospitality was top notch. They definitely went above and beyond for my girlfriend and I. Amazing job!! 10/10!!

Close to beach, amazing breakfast, quiet area

We had an amazing experience at this Bed and breakfast. It is located in a quiet, peaceful area and around 5 min walk from a nice beach. Host were quite helpful in answering any questions regarding things to do or good restaurants to eat at. The room was clean, comfortable and decently spacious. Bathroom is well designed and quite spacious. Bathroom has one of the deepest tubs we have ever seen. A delicious breakfast is served every morning. No dish was ever repeated during our 3 day stay. There were at least three items in every breakfast with coffee, tea and juice. One of the best breakfast I have ever had. I would stay here just for the breakfast alone.

Fantastic B&B

Rod and Christine were excellent hosts, providing advice on what to see and do, and giving us a delicious gourmet breakfast each morning.

We arrived around 10:00pm after playing golf. There were no light or any signs indicating Bed and breakfast place. It was dark and no other business around. I was lucky to find one other customer was outside of house sitting on the bench, so I could ask where was the B&B. We were planning to leave early without breakfast, so I asked a glass of warm water and owner agreed to bring water. After I brought my belonging to the room, the owner was not even responding to my call and I could not find any water in the room. It was not a good experience to stay at B&B. I would stay at hotel next time.

Room was great breakfast was great, excellent on every thing else. Water did not taste to good from the tap. smell to water.

You'll not be disappointed

A very professionally run B&B. Meticulously clean, quality bedding, delicious and nourishing breakfasts, quiet location , lush gardens, close to the lake and very helpful hosts. It is a five star B&B!

Comfortable, simple and elegant. Healthy breakfast

Didn't expect a B&B would be my kind of place to stay, but I had a relaxing and comfortable weekend. The owners are nice, friendly and helpful. The location is super and the nature is amazing.

The room and food were amazing. The hosts were very knowledgeable of the area and eager to suggest places to go and things to do. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Great B&B

Our first stay at a B&B could not have been more enjoyable. Great room ,comfortable bed,clean throughout. Great conversations over breakfast with interesting folk. Breakfast was an adventure every morning. Food was very tasty and everyone's tastes were accomodated.

Amazing B&B with amazing hosts and food!

Rod and Christine are amazing hosts! We were greeted warmly and immediately felt at home. They went out of their way with little details (turn down service at night, menus from all surrounding restaurants, beach towels, etc.). Very comfortable rooms with en suite bathrooms with all amenities, and walk-out doors to the garden (2 blocks from the lake) in each room. And the food! We stayed for two nights and each morning we had incredible 3-course breakfasts. Starting with tea or coffee (they ask your preference on arrival), orange juice, and fruit infused water, it's a lovely way to start the day while eating with fellow travelers on the secluded patio. Then comes a beautiful fruit plate, then freshly prepared muffins (even separate gluten free muffins to accommodate my celiac diet), and then an exquisite main course (bacon-wrapped polenta with and egg and cheese on top, and the next day Grand Marnier and orange French toast with sausage or ham (again, made a special dish to be gluten free for me, but allowed me to enjoy the same meal). The place is beautiful! And an amazing value. We would highly recommend this to anyone--we will certainly come back!

Best B & B we have ever stayed at!

Fabulous! Great hosts, great room and wonderful breakfast on china with other wonderful guests! Small, Quiet B & B one block from lake. Nice park next to lake was great for taking an evening stroll. Bed was good, multiple fluffy pillows and extra's in the bathroom! All rooms surround common living space with TV, games, game tables, books etc. Close to great restaurants. Each room opens to a patio with separate entry. Grounds were lovely and well cared for. Hosts obviously care and want each guest to have a great experience. I give this a five star rating.

The perfect mountain get-away!

We had such a wonderful time staying at the Windermere Lakeside B&B! When we arrived, we were very happy with the location, which is in a small, quiet neighborhood within a couple minute walk from a beach on Lake Windermere. The yard was spectacular – very well kept and colorful with so many flowers! Rod and Christine could not have been better hosts; they both have warm personalities and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The house was very clean and organized. There was a shared mini fridge to store a small amount of food and a nice shared living space downstairs. The rooms were very tidy and all had their own private bathrooms and either private or semi-private patio space. Rod and Christine had organized tons of information on things to do in the area and kept up-to-date records of current events/activities. They were also very willing to offer suggestions for places to go or eat, and seemed very knowledgeable about the area. We wanted to try a nice restaurant for dinner and they suggested Birchwood, which was absolutely fabulous. The breakfast at the B&B in the morning was multi-course and also fabulous – they used fresh food from their garden. There were a number of small touches that also made the stay extra special – for example, they turned down our bed and left chocolates and notes about the next day’s weather and they also accommodated our early morning schedule. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Peaceful and beautiful

We overnighted at this B&B and had a lovely evening walk to the lake and sat on a bench at the nearby lakeside park as the sun went down behind the Purcell mountains. Had a wonderfully prepared breakfast outside joined by two other couples staying at the B&B. The room was clean and comfortable and there was even a chocolate treat at bedtime.
