The Space:
Shady Grove offers 1,700 sq. ft. of Hill Country charm with room for up to 8 guests across 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces. The primary suite includes a king bed and private ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom features another king bed, and the third bedroom includes a queen bed. A twin trundle bed is located in the laundry room, thoughtfully separated by curtains for privacy and convenience, providing flexible sleeping space for kids or single guests. A separate nursery provides a crib and high chair for little ones. All three standard bedrooms feature room-darkening shades and sound machines to ensure a restful and uninterrupted night’s sleep.
Inside, the open living area is warm and inviting, with a cozy library nook, comfortable seating, and large windows with views of the oak-shaded property. Guests can relax and unwind with a smart TV and sound bar, perfect for movie nights or streaming your favorite shows. The fully stocked kitchen includes modern appliances, a dining table for six, and a coffee station with coffee, creamer, sugar, and sweeteners.
Outside, unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or swing beneath the trees in the front yard. The backyard pavilion includes a shaded dining area, propane and charcoal grills, and plenty of space for outdoor fun. The enclosed game pavilion features darts, cornhole, a football, giant Connect Four, and the classic hook-and-ring game, perfect for evenings spent laughing and playing together.
Guest Access:
Guests have full private access to the entire home, fenced yard, hot tub, fire pit, and both outdoor pavilions. Parking is available on-site for multiple vehicles. Check-in is easy with secure smart-lock entry, and all essential supplies — including linens, towels, and starter toiletries — are provided.

Great getaway!

Best beds and soft sheets await your weary head at Shady Grove. The home is super clean, three bedrooms two baths and large kitchen and living. The home is very close to town and easy to find. We enjoyed our weekend very much!

Charming and comfortable house close to cute and darling Wimberly downtown
Loved our stay at this darling southwestern decorated house. 8 of us (2 families) stayed here comfortably for spring break for 4 nights. The house was very clean and tidy and extremely cozy. The proximity to downtown Wimberly was a great bonus. We took day trips each day to Canyon Lake, Fredericksburg, and Gruene all within an hour drive...a beautiful drive! Wimberly is lovely and the people were even lovelier. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful spacious house!!! Far enough to see deer in the front yard and close enough to town and HEB!! It had all amenities needed to feel like home, coffee, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, washer and dryer etc etc......

Good location for our event. The property had very comfortable beds and ample towels and linens. I didn't care for the bare concrete and tile floors. The house would benefit from some more rugs. The TV's were nice and the internet worked great.

Perfect Place for Short or Long Stay
The location was quiet and peaceful, yet close to stores and restaurants. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived and was perfect for our stay as our daughter was getting married in a nearby town. We had older guests, so one attraction was that there were two walk-in showers. We also liked the fact that there was no carpet and that the property doesn't allow smoking or pets. We would choose this house again!

Nice location & outdoor areas
The location was great, close to town and easy to find. Very cute on the outside. Loved the grounds and the outdoor areas and hot tub were well done. We would have appreciated better craftmanship on the inside but furnishings made it nice enough. The water pressure was very low in the showers and not enough to wash long hair, but there was a tub that worked. The instructions were good and everything was labeled nicely. Thank you for the stay.

Great location
These are not show stoppers. Overall property was lovely and great location. Check in is so late and check out is earlier than most. Fan in living room had 1 speed and it was too aggressive and controller wouldn't allow us to lower speed. Outdoor motion sensor light kept going off many times outside the bedroom waking us. Thanks for letting us stay on your property. We try and treat your house like our own.

Home away from Home
We enjoyed our stay at this home with family. The town of WImberly is a hidden treasure and this house is minutes away. It had everything that we needed to cook and the beds were very comfortable. Even in the Texas heat of 110 degrees, we stayed nice and cool. The hot tub was nice for relaxing at night. We enjoyed tubing at Horseshoe Bend in the refreshing cool water, which was only a short drive away. New Braunsfels is about 30 minutes away and offers fabulous restaurants and shopping. San Marcos is about 30 minutes away and offered great shopping at the outlets. It was always nice to get back to our house and relax. I would stay here again.

We had the most amazing time at this peaceful home in the hill country. The house is perfectly outfitted, with the most serene setting. The house is very peaceful, with the best artistic touches and everything you need to feel comfortable but leave your worries behind. Very communicative host, easy to reach and would love to come back with the kids. Had a very relaxing girls weekend and it easily could have accommodated more guests, but felt wonderful with the three ladies.
