Creekside Retreat is a stunning property that offers the opportunity for both recreation and relaxation. The big open floorplan invites a feeling of camaraderie and inspires a sense of togetherness. Watch from the huge kitchen as your guests play pool on the regulation size pool table, gather by the woodburning fireplace or tickle their nostalgia on the vintage cocktail table arcade game. Sizeable windows overlook every part of this picturesque property. Step outside and relax outdoors on the mesmerizing rocky outcrop overlooking Cypress Creek and grill your favorite meal or chill by the fire pit. The beautifully constructed rock staircase provides easy access to the sparking waters of the Cypress Creek where you can enjoy hours of entertainment swimming, fishing, or just enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds of the water.

Two upstairs bedrooms and a lower level master suite also lend to the communal feel of the house. The upstairs bedrooms have two cozy full size beds with wonderful linens, organic mattresses and nice hardwood floors. The master suite has a queen size bed also with an organic mattress, views of the outdoors and a romantic fireplace. The ensuite bath has granite countertops, double vanity and a large tile shower reminiscent of a spa.

Creekside Retreat is a property designed for entertaining. Bring your friends and bring your sense of fun because this Hill Country property is ready to thrill.

The weekend was good overall. We had a couple hiccups but the host was super responsive even though they were not able to remedy our issues. The place was home like and spacious. Future visitors Be mindful of is there were visiting cats from next door. They are super sweet though. Pros - the espresso machine was wonderful to have, Beds comfy, pool tableCons - the fireplace did not work in the living room and the arcade console did not work Would stay again

Bugs everywhere

It was a beautiful property but unfortunately it really needs to be fumigated. There were bugs in bedrooms and bathrooms. For 7 women over 50 not a good thing!

Hill country stay

The house was nice and the creek access was fun for the kids. However, the internet was spotty and none of the tvs worked. We had four kids with no tv or apps all weekend so we didn’t get to relax much. There were also still rose petals from the previous stay all under our bed. Allot of the power outlets were damaged and need repair. We called for assistance and the repair guy said the TVs had intentionally been disabled so they would t work. Super disappointing bc the location and property are excellent. It would probably be a good idea in the future to make sure everything works before guests arrive.

Ladies weekend

We had a great time but it is not mentioned in listing that there is a step down to get to living area and master bathroom for handicapped people. Ice maker was not working. It was a nice place so everyone could visit and enjoy the creek. We did no cooking while there as we ate out as nobody wanted to cook as it was a get away from home.

Cute house

Stayed with 3 of my children for our Spring Break. Kids really liked the pool table, game table, and going down to the creek. There are lots of steps down to the creek. Few fun things to do around town that we enjoyed. The home was fine but there are a few things that could be better. The dishwasher lower rack didn’t fit right in the dishwasher and a struggle to use. The rug in the kitchen is a death trap bc it slides everywhere. Dresser drawers in the main bedroom are tight and don’t pull easily. I don’t think the house had been used for awhile before us because once we pulled the coverlets down from all the beds there was dusty fluff over all the beds. It just made it seem dirty even though they weren’t and the floors weren’t as clean as they should be, my sons socks were black at the end of the first night.

Perfect for Girls or Fam Trip

The house and property were wonderful! The main kitchen/dining/living area is perfect for family gatherings. Super close to all the main areas of Wimberley. Only issue encountered was the Netflix app in living and master bedroom were locked by someone named Shauna, and it wouldn’t allow us to log her out and log in with our own. Otherwise, no complaints!

Moms weekend away

The property was spacious and clean. We enjoyed lots of time in the kitchen/dining/large living space together, and our weather was beautiful for the outside porches and seating. There were a few small things we didn’t have in the kitchen and our fridge filter said “replace,” but we made it work. Location and proximity to town was great! I would love to come back

Great escape

Just as described. Lovely home right on the creek. Sixty-ish ladies celebrating a birthday! We had a wonderful time cooking watching movies playing pool and arcade game. The creek was going dry and there was a burn ban so no chance to use fire pit area.. Quite neighbors, deer everywhere. Great spot. I would definitely stay again.

Admin Retreat Perfection

We stayed in this lovely home for an admin retreat with my team. We were able to work and play all in one place. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well-appointed and the pool table and video games a plus!

Girls' Trip

Nice stay for girls' trip. Plenty of room. Few things need looking after that could become serious such as sliding glass door does not lock, strip on stairs from kitchen to living room not secure, some plugs do not have covers, toaster does not heat up and smokes. We stayed after a storm so understandably some outside clean up was needed. Overall, had a great time and appreciate the use of your property,

Great property with picturesque photo op out back patio. Well appointed kitchen with plenty of dishes & cooking utensils. All lights & ceiling fans in working order. Plenty of parking w/circular drive. Excellent internet service.

Beautiful but a Little Buggy

Truly a lovely home with all you need for your family to enjoy their time together (board games, pool table, patio areas, wonderful dining area). The view from the patio to the creek was terrific, but sadly, there was no water in the stream, which was disappointing. I know no one can control that but knowing would have lessoned the disappointment. The day before check-in, I received a text saying the rental agreement had not been signed, I didn't know about it. Called, and the lady told me it was sent three times and gave me the time and date sent; I had already searched inbox, trash, and spam for their company name. Using Gmail, most things make it to my inbox. We tried another email- it worked. So we were set and headed on our getaway. I fell in love with the house instantly. It is close to town, a quiet neighborhood, deer everywhere. That night we began noticing bugs, just a few downstairs, more upstairs. I meant to call the next day but we had a full day. That night the numbers were much higher. I texted the company and sent a pic via email. They did not respond and still haven't. By the third night my son used our shower because there were more than so many bugs in his. Our feet were also black from walking around in the house. Google searched the bugs, they look like click beetles. The house was great but the management company experiences were not. Would rate a 1 if the house wasn't so perfect without factoring the beetles in.

Relaxing stay

My friends and I stayed here last weekend. Overall, it was very nice. Certain rooms had lovely makeovers, but the home is in need of some outdoor sprucing up. Siding is missing in certain places and it just seemed a tad “worn.” We received notice that the icemaker wasn’t working and that we should stop and pick up ice if we wanted it. I asked the manager to pick it up for us, as that was an amenity we expected, but I was told “they don’t provide that service.” I believe that was actually their job and not a service they were providing. In addition, the home was missing a cork screw, which was very inconvenient at the time we decided to open a bottle of wine. Overall, however, it was a very nice place. It’s a great place to hang out and visit.

The house is less than okay as in cleanness. The upstairs bathroom has bugs in the toilet. Need better cooking NON-STICK pots & pans. House smell like mildew. The outside needs yard work and clean up.

Relaxing getaway

This house was perfect for our family of four (2 teens) to get out of the city for a few days for a relaxing trip. The house was exactly as advertised: a charming house with a lovely location and view by the creek. It's very quiet and we did some reading, splashing in the creek, and the boys loved the pool table and video arcade. It's a short drive to town for shops and restaurants. Many of them are closed Monday-Tuesday. That wasn't an issue for us as we spent most of our time at the house, but other travelers might want to take note. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others!
