Great house in a great location. The screened in porch was fantastic. Only negative was the bed in the guest bedroom downstairs. The mattress on the bottom bunk is essentially a fancy inflatable air mattress. No instructions on how it works, and once I figured it out, the remote wouldn’t connect to the unit.

The location is perfect for visiting the blue hole park, or walking directly into town via the trails. The house was beautiful and I really appreciate a screened in patio AND a balcony on the top floor. The property would benefit from a hot tub, but to be honest I wouldn't have had the time to utilize it during our short stay. We'll be coming back and bringing the kids!

Beautiful house with unique and quality rooms, hearth, and staircase wall. Nice screened in porch and master balcony. I would stay here again and recommend it. House was clean except for some mysterious toothpaste-looking spots on the living room carpet and some on the chairs. We wiped it clean with a damp rag. Booking, entry code and check out was seamless. Overall excellent stay.

The property was a nice lay out and the screened-in porch was enjoyable to sit on with Cypress Creek bubbling by. This house does need a good, deep cleaning though. The bathroom rugs on the main floor had not been washed between guest visits. The screen and floorboards of the screen-in porch were covered in dust. The whole porch needed a good powerwashing. The bunk beds on the main floor were not really comfortable, at least the bottom bed wasn't. The design of the bed requires you to enter the bed from the foot which for a 60 year old body is not easy to do especially at night for a bathroom break. There were two low windows in that bedroom which allowed anyone standing in the drive way to see in. There were no window coverings to block that view especially at night. Also, there were bare minimums of handsoap, paper towels, etc. The directions invite guests who run out of such items to go buy their own. Really? For over 200 a night? I have to say even though I noticed many properties doing this, check-in isn't until 4pm and then check out is by 10am. The idea is for housekeeping to have time to clean. Seems like if there is going to be such a bite out of the time you can stay, that the place would be spic and span.

Beautiful and ideal location. You can walk to Blue Hole (make sure to make a reservation) and the creek is right in the backyard. Wimberly towncenter is a very short drive from the property with lots of nice boutique shops and delicious restaurant options. The access to the creek from the property is a little steep and it was very hot upatairs. The upstairs ac unit was dripping a bit and we couldnt get the light to turn off when the cieling fan was on. The covered porch and balcony were wonderful. You could hear the burbling creek and watch the lightning bugs at night. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an incredible time at Cypress Star. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We walked to Blue Hole regional park and took the trail to downtown Wimberly. The backyard is perfect for hanging out and splashing around in the creek. We will definitely be back!

Next Door to Blue Hole!
We stayed at the Cypress Star for a family weekend away. The location is easy to find, close to the town of Wimberley, near HEB but still quiet and relaxing. Property owners were responsive and timely and the house was outfitted with everything you need for a short weekend. We recommend!

Amazing getaway
This was the perfect quiet getaway in wimberly. So many great areas to sit outside and relax, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bedding was also high quality which is not always the case with bnbs, so really appreciate the attention to every detail

Really great property—right on the creek and very close to shopping and dining areas in Wimberley. Screen porch was great, too. Sat out there sipping wine and listening to owls and frogs at night. A delightful end to the day!

The house is in a great location next to the Blue Hole park! It was very clean, remodeled nicely, exactly as stated in the description, and spacious for a family. The screened porch was a nice spot to sit for evening drinks and morning coffee.

Great getaway
We loved the location of this Cypress Creek getaway next to Blue Hole. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trails and took the trail into downtown for shopping/eateries. One improvement for future guests: the Keurig is not cutting it and the french press is too small for a group. A drip coffee maker would be appreciated on future visits. Overall, a terrific stay!

Fantastic property!! Not five minutes away from downtown yet you feel like you are out in the country. Home is obviously just remodeled not too long ago and they did a great job. Will stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Excellent location
Everything was as stated, we loved everything about this property. Had one issue when switching climate control from A/C to heat. The issue was I was not familiar with the mini-split systems and the need for all controllers (3) to be in same mode. This was solved by calling property management. Would highly recommend this rental.

This is a great cabin among the trees. It is nicely furnished and in like-new condition. The spacious den, with fan-folding glass doors, opens to a huge screened porch overlooking Cypress Creek. It is the most relaxing and quiet stay we have found, with an active town square just around the corner.
