Beautiful Location, Poorly Maintained Property
If you've ever dreamed of sharing your vacation with a colony of ants, this is the place for you —ants in the pantry, ants in the microwave, ants in the bathroom… truly a full tour. We alerted the property management and someone did show up with a can of Raid, but unfortunately, the issue was well beyond a single spray-down.Outside, you’ll enjoy the scenic ocean breeze while playing a thrilling game of "Which patio chair collapses first?" After a dip in the ocean, rinse off with the charming outdoor shower—it’s significantly better than the outdated and leaky one indoors.The ceiling fan in the bedroom looked like it might launch itself at any moment—it dangled ominously overhead all night. The electrical outlets in the loft were warped, and on day one, flipping the switch actually caused water to come out. That's not a typo. Water.Linens and mattresses are well past their prime. Some towels had holes, and the overall cleanliness was lacking—plenty of hair ties and food bits left from previous guests made for a surprise scavenger hunt under furniture.The 90s-themed décor is... accurate from the listing, down to the one-armed armchairs. Lighting is a fun guessing game, as many bulbs or fixtures didn’t work. The location, view, and pool are undeniably wonderful—and we’ve stayed at this condo complex before and had better experiences. But sadly, this particular unit has not kept up with basic maintenance and cleanliness standards.
